Tavern on the Hill 305 — Restaurant in Winthrop

So I put up a review last night apparently the owner was quite upset. So I removed it to make them feel better about themselves. Because I was disappointed about how things turned out. Which is my right as a consumer. Your not gonna get it right all the time and please everyone.Ckear you t only like those 4 5 star reviews. So customer can't be upset and have to accept subpar service? I don't care if there live music Monday waiting 48 minutes to get your meal is unacceptable. If your behind your busy then that's when you As the owner of owners you step it up and in.. You meet and greet your customers after all that's why your in Business.The fact this establishment takes offense do anything that isn't a four-star review tells me all I need to know. It's a wonder your still in business. It's about the whole experience and we want we can talk about Karen all day long she came back three times not eight I counted. the appetizer well yeah those nachos had more salt and chips and cheese than meet for the price. You guys got paid in full even though there was a special that wasn't discounted that's on you guys. Karens a decent waitress and she got a tip to. Rest assured I'll be back Mr and Mrs owner(a). I don’t give out five stars very often at this place was AMAZING 👍🏼👍🏼 easy to find plenty of parking. They are remodeling on the outside of the building. The inside looks incredible. The hostess was very kind and friendly. Our waitress was so sweet to my daughter it was my her birthday she highly recommended (lobster Benedict) my daughter said she had never tasted anything so good. She wouldn’t even give me a bite. Lol She said she couldn’t have gone to a better restaurant for her 17th birthday. The atmosphere is very friendly and open. Had a satisfying post “Theater at Monmouth” dinner. Elevated pub food prepared well and served by a remarkable waitress, Amelia. Who was professional, attentive and personable. Really, a model for what a server should be. Elevated, because there were unexpected touches, like the scallops served over corn risotto, served with charred corn centered on the dish: surprising and very tasty. A decent soba noodle stirfry was satisfying on a cold night, the garlic mashed potato side was better than hoped for, the fish and chips ( handcut french fries) were also great.
