17Sixteen — Restaurant in Wisconsin Rapids

We were in Wisconsin Rapids on their "Opening Weekend" and thought that we would stop in for a drink or two and a bite to eat. Apparently they aren't serving food right now and don't have a clue as to when they will be. The interior decor looks like a 4th Grader did it or quite possibly a 4th Grader could have done better. The Service was definitely mediocre to say the absolute least and it took like 20 minutes for us to get another Round of Drinks served to us. They seemed Short Staffed at the very least and never once apologized for making us wait. It was definitely a little bit pricey for The Wisconsin Rapids area in my opinion. We spent over $65 for four people at only two-three drinks each. I was definitely not impressed at all with the place. Cutest little bar I’ve ever been to! Not only is the place decked out in some gorgeous 90s retro and glam decor, but the servers were quick and attentive. My husband and some friends of ours went on a Friday night and the bar was packed!! I was worried we wouldn’t find a place to sit or would have trouble getting a bartender to notice us. But we got a nice table in the adjoining dinning room and when we went up for drinks we were served right away!

We got the house margarita, old fashioned, on tap blue slushy cider (so good!), and a blackberry fizz. 10/10 will definitely go here again! *beware the margarita though!...

Really fun environment to hang out in! We came in for drinks and the service was great! Can’t wait to try the food when that starts. The only thing I would mention is that the music was a bit loud for having conversation with friends. Maybe we were just by a speaker or something, but I was definitely finding myself shouting for most of the night. Everything was truly excellent though! I love that Rapids has something new...
