American Family Table Restaurant — Restaurant in Wisconsin Rapids

We've been here many times and while the food is great, the service is terrible. Our last visit included the waitress bringing coffee and forgetting the water. Not a big deal but when the food was ordered we specifically pointed to the card on the table that said "4" pieces of French toast (someone has posted a pic of this same card in their review). What was brought to the table was 3. When asked how many it was supposed to be, her response was "whatever they feel like". Pointed out the card on the table and she said, that's wrong, I've just been throwing those away but "they" don't want us to do that. She pretty much blew it off and left the card at the table. The other order was a skillet that included toast. The skillet was brought without the toast. We sat at the table waiting for the toast that was put up on the counter and watched our waitress sit on her cell phone behind the counter. Many other visits with the same kind of service. Would consider going back for the food if they could get some decent staff but that...

I used to love this restaurant, good service, wonderful food, cheap prices and had they kept it like that, they would still have me as a customer. I went tonight, I waited 10 minutes to get a menu while my waitress stood there chatting with the cook, they couldn't half my order so my boyfriend and I decided to split the plate, the menu promises a homemade waffle and I used to actually get it tonight the waffles were frozen variety and not even Eggos, the syrup was always served warm, not tonight, the sausage was also the cheap frozen variety, it took a while after me asking for the whip cream that was already supposed to be on my waffles to get her to bring me the whip cream, the best part of my dinner was the drink. The service and food has seriously gone down in quality while the prices have gone up. I used to be able to get two meals plus drinks for $20, my boyfriend and I split a plate and paid 16.50 for our meal which as I explained was seriously disappointing. My recommendation? Don't...

Amy the waitress is very rude, Never want her. Rude our table and a large table of people. She didn't know any of us at either table. We asked for a refill and she said, cant you see I'm busy, you are rude customers, We all were like wow, first time I had a chance to AsK for it, and was patiently going to wait. I told her that was very rude, and she looked at us and said we all rude customers, glad we were done, won't go back for awhile, others were shocked at her as well. I called DD manager over, told her, she said she talk to her. Wow crazy! I have NEVER had such poor Service in my life eatting out, ever...
