I’d like to thank the employee who parked her car in a police escorted funeral procession line up, while attempting to bring catering food dishes into the church. Yes I understand you have a job to do, but it definitely could’ve waited a few minutes until the entire line of cars you held up left the parking lot. Since the front cars took off following the police officer, I was stuck behind her while she put food on a cart, and ended up getting lost trying to find the cemetery since I was separated from the escort, had a panic attack when I couldn’t catch up with other cars and had no idea which way they went, and ended up late to my grandfathers burial. Maybe next time don’t hire ignorant, incompetent, idiotic, employees. Will never shop here again, they sent an inconsiderate employee to do a simply job, and it ended up ruining the burial. All of that, and the food they brought for catering wasn’t that good. The ham was super over cooked and burnt, the green beans were hard, it was a disaster. If my grandpa wouldn’t been at his own funeral he would’ve been so disappointed and angry...
Read moreWe are pleased with our local store. Even before the pandemic, it remained a mainstay. The owner has been part of this store for a long time. We will always choose shopping at this store over other options in town for the simple fact, they are a good fit for this community. Through this pandemic, they have remained open and used good decisions for ALL the customers. We have given alot of recommendations to others about shopping here when others enforced the fave mandate. We know of atleast 10 families who have driven for miles away from thier communities to shop here because of this. Prices vary compared to other stores. Knowing they support local farmers and other community businesses, we are willing to pay a little more. They have a great meat department! With deals daily and special cuts upon request. The store is clean and has a welcoming environment. Just what we want in a...
Read moreI have edited my review and updated it, after going to Quality Foods today, and discovered their EXTREME price increases on their groceries. Talk about price gouging. Chicken & pork have doubled in prices. There are no shortages of either one. Hot dogs have literally tripled in price. I used to buy a jar of roasted peanuts for $2.79 just recently. Today it is $4.79 for the exact same jar. What this city needs is a Hy-Vee Grocery store, to take place of Walmart, Pick n Save, and Quality Foods IGA. You are pricing yourself out of your loyal...
