Franchise Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Wood River

We try to frequent this restaurant at least once a month. We love the friday night special. But on this last visit on a Sunday at 520pm the establishment was holding a fund raise ( all good ) but only had 3 waitress working . Very disorganized. Had to ask 2 times for a waitress. We sat out as far away from the bar near the smoking patio. Watched tables sit down and be served that arrived after we did ( we was a table of 2) the very large tables received major attention. I ordered the Club Sandwich as you can see from the photos I received a grilled turkey with only 2 different cheese said it came with lettuce tomatoes and mayo all was missing. Also said chips pickles and onion. Only chips came . I asked out waitress to have it corrected with she did and she was not happy about it because they were swamped. All we ordered was large Caesar salad and a club sandwich. Took 1.5 hours to receive them . I asked for check and box at the time she set food down . I love love Club Sandwich NORMALLY served not grilled and hot but was told that's how we make it. We'll please describe on your menu that it grilled and served hot. We left very disappointed the service has gone down hill and NEVER NEVER see waitress smile. It's not just my opinion others have left same reviews. Was shocked on a response to a review when it ended then don't come back bye felicia. I was in the service industry for 15 yrs and was shocked at that response. No management to be seen in the 2+hours we was there.Hope they fix a couple issues and get back to good...

Be careful going there if you are black american. Unfortunately, we still live in a world of racism. I have been in the area for 4 years. I send my children to pick up pizza. I stop in there, but I am not able to get respectable service or treated with respect. I do not start trouble, but have been disrespected by the staff there because of my color like it is the 1950's of no blacks get service. I tried to report my concern but did not receive the proper relief and it is said. They need to do better. I do not understand how some humans can believe they are better and if one persons money is better than the others because of their color. I also was talked to extremely bad. Skipped on ordering for 20 minutes and then told O could not order after waiting because they were not taking orders after being skipped. This happened on several occasions recently 4 times in 3 weeks. Im really hurt by this!! Hopefully the owners make a change!! Since this review there has been a change. WE GOT A RAW BURGER HERE, WHAT HAPPENED NEXT IS THE REAL SHOCKER. The atmosphere was lovely, as there are private places to sit. We were greeted and served menus within a timely manner. After just a few minutes of our order being placed,our food was brought to us🤔. After My Man took his first bite of his burger, we could see that it was pink. The server never asked how he wanted it cooked (OR UNDERCOOKED)- Initially it was doable. A few more bites in, the burger was cold and softer then usual. As we looked down, we realized that the burger was completely raw, to where we could see the uncooked grounds of beef. When the waitress came back, I politely addressed the issue and the fact that the meat is so raw that my Man couldn't even finish eating his meal. She snickered and quickly became defensive and stated that she did keep coming back. She was very rude, dismissive, didn't offer any apology or a solution, yet quick to take our money and walk away.I would only recommend going here if you are white and on a raw meat diet.
