I don’t like to leave negative reviews but at this point I have to write one because I have tried this place many many times.
With the introduction of more expensive options, The Pats franchise has changed the menu to try and become a restaurant/grill leaving behind its old image of a pizza shop.
Unfortunately, the management of this particular Pats has been unable to properly adjust to the changes due to lack of will or skill— not sure. There are other Pats that are better managed and consistently deliver better food which match the franchise’s objective for their vision. Regardless of if you like the changes to the overall product, this particular location is inconsistent. At this point, it’s almost a coin flip
If all you are ordering is some fries, pizza, and a wrap you will be fine as these are easy to prep. But if you go for anything else that require a little extra detail, something like a pasta dish, you might be a disappointed.
And yeah, all the food snobs will wonder why you would trust a pasta dish, but really… at like $20+ a plate it should pass. The expectations are normal. Other Pats locations have delivered. This one simply misses the target.
And it’s unfortunate because the building and interior is great. You walk in and feel cozy. Its warm from the pizza oven that’s keeps the place toasty in the winter… yet feels too fancy for just pizza.
But anyone who has lived around this area long enough knows there are several fantastic pizza shops in the area that consistently put out way better pies.
I hope this place...
Read moreI have lived in Woodbury Heights for over 30 years and have patronized Pat's for as long as they have been in Woodbury Heights (also frequented the Paulsboro location when I lived there). My favorite item has always been the Chicken Parmigiana Dinner. I stopped going to Pat's a few years ago due to the ever decreasing portion size of my favorite dinner. Then about a year ago my daughter mentioned that her and her husband had tried Pat's again and the portions and quality were back. I was excited and began ordering again. Now in the last few months the old issue came back, smaller portions! The last few times I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Dinner I have been very disappointed. I don't mind paying $22 for the dinner if I get a fair portion for the price. I would rather even pay more for a decent meal. Well I ordered the meal again today and once again it was not worth the price. I will not be ordering the Chicken Parmigiana Dinner again and just felt that I should pass on this information. PS - I tried contacting Pat's through their Contact Us page but after a...
Read moreRecently moved from Cherry Hill where the Pats at that location food was incredibly good and we ordered there at least once a week. Ordered from this location an was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Ordered a cheese steak Stromboli and was delivered a pepperoni pizza instead!! Driver came back to take the wrong order and promised to be back with our correct order. When he returned , he came with a Stromboli that was obviously given to the customer that had ordered the pepperoni pizza. The Stromboli had been cut open and handled by that customer. Why would you deliver me food that another customer had opened and handled? I was told to accept the tampered Stromboli with their apologies. Furthermore, I was offered $5 off my next order. Very insulting to say the least. The Stromboli was part of a birthday party and I will never forget the disappointment of my company for my birthday. Thank you Pats for ruining my birthday. I thought you guys would live up to the quality and professionalism of the Cherry Hill store but you...
