Farmer Boys has been on A steady decline ever since they changed their french fries to there "always shellacked fries" Especially the Farmer Boys on Van Buren & Washington. there is always a now hiring sign outside… We have had multiple bad experiences there. Stale buns extremely overcooked burnt chicken strips inedible sandwiches overcooked hamburger patties missing food items from orders and so on. We hadn't gone in quite some time and thought we'd give it another go but tonight's hamburger tasted like it had been sitting out for quite some time the bun was extremely stale the patty had no seasoning and was very dry with A nasty hint of fish essence . We returned and they remade The double big cheese and it tasted just as bad the second time around. It is way too pricey for what you get. The staff does try to make things right which we appreciate but they are only as good as their product and training . The quality of their Ingredients has gone way downhill, while prices go up and they're coupons suck now too. At one visit I even received a burger that had some sort of brown paper mixed into the meat, That should've been the last time we went. Glutton for punishment I suppose. Too bad their food used to be so tasty. Now it's just way too expensive t To spend the rest the day worrying if you're going to get sick with food poisoning. We definitely won't...
Read moreCustomer service was horrible. I am VIF member. I received my birthday offer. I ordered the Farmer’s Omelet w/o meat and hash browns to go. However, they gave me fruit.
I had to drive back and go in and request my original order. They just dumped the fruit off, replaced it with hash browns and gave me back my dish.
While waiting for the hash browns the toast of course got cold and the omelet. When I requested why would you serve me back a half cold and half hot order, the young lady just look at me with a puzzled look.
I am not Latino, but I do understand Spanish. Instead of speaking my concern to the manager in English, the young lady communicated in Spanish, then turn to me and said, “oh well, I am sorry”. I spoke back in Spanish and in English to let her know that their customer service was awful and unacceptable and I understood what was said.
I called corporate as well and left the above complaint.

Read moreI go here since it's close to my house, probably 2 to 3 times a week..it's not because of the service..I like couple of their salads..getting extra dressing is like trying to get the winning lottery ticket..I have to act like a begger..tonight the lady says, it costs more..Ok so charge me!! When you have some staff, who shouldn't be in the service business..maybe should be in a non customer oriented business..such as a janitor...I like my salads with more dressing , I go 10 to 12 times a month ...is losing my business worth the extra 2 dollars of ranch?? I guess to this girl with a very heavy make up it is..Ok good job..you lost it genious..I will go elsewhere and buy a 10$ salad 12 times a month..i paid 120$ for those salads, how much profit you think your boss made? Dummy..that's a pretty decent profit..for a little ranch ...this is upsetting..low skilled, dummies, ruin it for...
