★★★★★ Food quality ★★★★★ Service ★★★★★ Ambiance ★★★★★ Value ★★★★★ Menu selection ★★★★★ Location/Accessibility ★★★★★ Overall experience A few weeks ago, I found myself in the midst of an insatiable craving for a perfect pizza experience. A memory surfaced of a coworker enthusiastically extolling the virtues of Jet's Pizza as his all-time favorite pizzeria. Recollecting a previous encounter with one of their signature pizzas that had left a lasting impression, I knew exactly where my quest for the perfect pizza would lead me. With anticipation running high, I decided to place an order through Door Dash for a large Detroit-Style deep dish pizza, opting for a minimalist approach with no additional toppings and very light cheese. My destination: Jet's Pizza, a place I had come to associate with extraordinary culinary delights. Upon arriving at Jet's Pizza, I was met with a surprising sight – the parking lot, despite the lunch hour rush, stood virtually empty. As I entered the establishment, I found myself to be the sole patron in the restaurant. A courteous young man stood behind the counter, extending a warm greeting and promptly inquiring about my order. Confirming the details, I watched as he adeptly went about his duties, preparing what I anticipated would be a culinary masterpiece. While awaiting my pizza, I seized the opportunity to take in the ambiance of the restaurant. The serenity of the moment allowed me to appreciate the thoughtful interior design. The predominantly white walls and floors were tastefully adorned with patterns in red and green, harmonizing seamlessly with the restaurant's thematic elements. Despite the presence of tables and booths, the spacious layout maintained an airy and uncluttered atmosphere. The focal point of the establishment, the counter, occupied a significant portion of the interior. It was meticulously organized, with stations serving various functions. The entire space exuded cleanliness and a sense of pristine order, while the air was saturated with the enticing and tantalizing aroma of freshly baked pizza. Finally, the moment arrived, and the courteous staff handed me a box brimming with piping hot pizza, releasing a captivating fragrance that tantalized the senses. Now, let's delve into the heart of the matter – the pizza itself. The first sensation to greet me was the irresistible and mouthwatering aroma that wafted from the box. Within the confines of the box lay neatly sliced squares of pizza, each exuding an air of culinary artistry. My first bite transported me to a realm of extraordinary flavors that define the Detroit-Style deep dish. The dough, with its delightful crunch, was remarkably airy and subtly seasoned, imbuing every bite with savory notes. The cheese, though sparingly applied, contributed to a pleasing texture, softening each morsel and imparting a satisfying fullness. The tomato sauce, uncomplicated yet bold, introduced a delightful blend of saltiness and tanginess. What truly left an indelible mark on my taste buds was the impeccably charred crust on the bottom of the pizza. Caramelization had worked its magic, transforming what could have been a bland crust into a revelation of savory sweetness. With no additional toppings to distract from the symphony of flavors, I chose to accompany this culinary masterpiece with a refreshing cucumber salad, all elegantly washed down with a classic Diet Coke. In retrospect, the entire experience proved to be nothing short of extraordinary. It is said that pizza possesses the remarkable ability to elevate one's mood instantaneously, and this sentiment resonates even more profoundly when indulging in the Detroit-Style deep dish at Jet's Pizza. Now, I unequivocally comprehend why my coworker spoke so highly of this establishment. While it may not always align with the principles of health-conscious dining, it undeniably stands as the epitome of culinary refreshment, a beacon for those seeking respite in a world of...
Read moreI was excited to hear that Jet's Pizza has arrived! Unfortunately, I was let down by Jets. I went here for lunch today. There were two guys at a table and me picking up my order. My pizza was overcooked (not quite burnt but very "crunchy"). I don't even know how they could serve it. I understand this is a new pizza joint, maybe they do not have the nuances of the oven worked out, but GET IT RIGHT! I have to say the guy at the counter (I talked to him over the phone) was really nice and personable so it seems they have the customer service thing down, now they have to get the product right. This restaurant looks like it will be nice when completed; the tile on the floor and walls along with the logos look good. IF they can put out a good product, they may give LaRosa's up the street a run for their money! I have to say that I was NOT happy with my initial order. If I was not on my lunch break, with no time to spare, I would have...
Read moreOrdered a pizza for pickup. I arrived when it was supposed to be ready. I saw my box in the “warmer”. I was told my order was not ready. Ten minutes later, the front worker grabs the box out of the warmer, adds cold butter to the crust and gave it to me. At this point the pizza was cold. I asked for a refund and they took the pizza and could provide no proof they actually gave me a refund. I have been coming to this jets for years. Never before have they had such attention lacking workers as they do now. They tried to serve me cold pizza. I only have 30 minutes for a lunch break. Driving to jets and then waiting for 10 minutes when my pizza was actually already ready when I got there leaves me with no time to actually eat. This jets does not care about you...
