Unacceptable Service and Poor Customer Experience at Dairy Queen Woodlawn
Dairy Queen Corporate Team,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service and overall atmosphere at your Dairy Queen Woodlawn location. If this is indicative of how your staff is being trained to treat customers, I urge you to consider the potential impact on your revenue.
During my visit, I placed a very simple order, but it was prepared incorrectly. When I politely requested a remake, the male employee working the window handled the situation in an unprofessional and unacceptable manner. Rather than remaking the order correctly, he simply added the correct candy to the already incorrect order, making it clear that my request was not taken seriously. This response left me feeling absolutely disgusted.
When I called to address the issue and informed the employee that this is not the proper way to remake an order, he denied any mistake rather than taking responsibility for his actions. I want to make it clear that I will not be treated as if I am naïve or as if my concerns are trivial by any employee.
Furthermore, the amount of candy in the treat was excessive, and the employee claimed this was normal. From a corporate perspective, I am concerned about the impact this practice could have on your food costs and inventory management. Overstuffing orders not only affects the budget but also suggests a lack of proper training and oversight.
I hope you will take this matter seriously and address the training and customer service standards at this location. Such experiences can drive customers away and lead to a decline in revenue, which I’m sure you would want to avoid.
Thank you for your attention to this...
Read moreOur family loves this location, the crew is so friendly and don't forget to ask about their "goof box" for $1. How can you have anything from DQ that would be a "goof", it is all delicious. My only concern is getting into the parking lot or drive thru. There are times we have waited to pull in, because there is no way to do so. Springfield Pike is a little scary while you are waiting to pull in. This place is so popular that I have sat on the street praying that we don't get hit. You have to wait though, especially after you have promised your children DQ ice cream. I wish you were open all year, we want DQ when it's cold...
Read moreService is not as good as it has been years ago. There is a lot of playing around and not paying attention to orders. I had a large order and when usually a person has a large order something always gets screwed up. I asked the guy to repeat my order in which he did, and when I got to the window he claimed he "lost" it. Seriously!!!! Like I said a lot of playing around there. One girl wasn't paying attention to the money I gave her. My order was around $ 3 and I gave her a $ 20. Then she handed me five singles!!! Dairy Queen is a place of business and if you want to play around, go to a park...
