Had a craving for ice cream and we just happened to drive by Scoops after dinner last night. This was our first time going to scoops and it will be our last. It was 8:20 at night, a couple was walking out as we were walking in, and there were no other customers in the shop. There was one young girl working, and when she saw us walk in she clearly looked bothered that we stopped in. She gave us no time to look and immediately asked us what we wanted, I asked her to give us a moment to look. Again she appeared bothered we werenât placing our order immediately. I asked her about the ingredients of a âchocolate lookingâ ice cream and she did answer but it was the way she answered. I was still looking but told my husband to go ahead and place his order because she was on stand by ready for the order. After she made his order I asked her what made their cookies and cream ice cream âveganâ. She responded and with an attitude told me I can try it if I want. Any interaction she did with us she was very short in her answers and was rushing us. I was becoming bothered by how she was treating us so I placed my order. She placed 2 scoops of ice cream on a cone, they were lopsided and I still am not sure how they didnât completely fall off of the cone. She rushed us to the register to pay , as I was looking for napkins because my ice cream was literally hanging off the cone. She had no words for us besides telling us our total. Not sure what that girlâs problem was, why she was in a hurry when they didnât close until 9 PM, but I donât know how she keeps a job. And if she acted that way with my husband and I, then Iâm sure she has treated other customers that way as well. I definitely will not be returning to this business for ice...
Read moreMy family always loved stopping in for a scoop or two but today was not a very fun experience. The employee had to remake a customers shake several times in front of us, allowing a line to form out the door. When it was finally our turn we all ordered very simple scoops with no toppings but she made one cone wrong and didnât use any gloves or napkins. Instead of having her remake them again I just mentioned to her how it was very unsanitary and how I was disappointed by the size of the scoops. She didnât even apologize. While we sat and ate we heard other customers complain about the scoop sizes and unfortunately another wrong order too. I donât believe anyone in that line today will be returning. Needless to say the employees there need some serious training if the company wants to retain happy,...
Read moreHonestly, I would give it 0 stars if I could. My ice cream wasnât the best I have ever had but it wasnât bad. The service, though, was terrible. I came on 6/18, around 8:15pm. The girl working looked annoyed we were there (a group of 3) and said nothing. She didnât say hello, welcome in, would you like to sample anything, what can I get for you, or anything of the sorts. Just stared silently. As a waitress, I find this lazy, especially when you are going to ask me to tip. I usually leave a tip at places like this (where tips shouldnât be a thing, since thereâs no service besides your job you are paid to do by your employer) because I do feel for the workers. However, if you are unable to speak kindly or at all, you will not get a...
