Pizza Bella — Restaurant in Woodstock

Comically bad dining experience. Sunday evening, not busy. I arrived 10 minutes ahead of my party of 10 (adults w/children) so that I could order some apps that would hopefully be coming out of the kitchen when the kids got there. Fail #1. No one even came over to greet me until the entire party arrived 10 minutes later. When the server did greet us, she walked over and stared at us; didn't welcome us or ask us if we'd like appetizers...just stared and waited for us to speak. We painfully ordered drinks and later entrees. My daughter got the burger (pictured) and she lifted the bun to put ketchup on it and said "daddy, what the heck?". I immediately asked the server what gives with the huge chunk of meat missing. Server said that the chef had to make sure it was cooked correctly. I asked if that process entailed eating it since clearly a large piece of the burger was missing and comically server said yes!! Fail #2. I asked if I would get 1/3 off the price since the burger was 1/3 less and only then did she arrogantly ask if my kid would like another. Fail #3. My daughter was hungry at the time so I left it up to her and she decided to just eat it because what kid on Earth wants to wait for anything? Server never offered a discount or an apology. Manager never visited the table. We also ordered an extra pizza (for a sick kid at home) that never arrived but they still tried to charge us for it. I had to ask for it to be removed and the server questioned me that it never arrived. Comically bad since that's her job to know. Fail #4.

If I could give zero...

Was great the first couple of times we were in there, but service and quality has gone down hill since. The last 3 times we were there, waitress was very slow at getting drinks, and food order was wrong! I cook for a living, and for the amount of people that were in the dining area, there should have been a been no hold up or order errors. When you order a salad that is supposed to include the garlic knots, you should get the garlic knots with it. They never came. Had to literally stand up with our drink cups to get the attention of the waitress. When paying for the food we did receive, I asked if the bread no longer came with the salads, and was told yes it did. I then stated that I never got mine, and the waitress said" oh, they were busy" . Really??!!!! Will not...

Wow good food in this little hidden place. My wife got a calzone which was awesome. It was made with really good ricotta and mozzarella which is a rare find. I had a dish which was Alfrado, egg, and bacon over pasta. It may sound a little weird but it was excellent. The Alfredo was a surprise at how good it was. Others in our group got spaghetti and meatballs, slices of pizza, and stromboli. All were good. The only negative were the wings. We ordered garlic and butter wings and I should have sent them back. There was no garlic and the butter was the cheep liquid butter. All other food was awesome and the service was excellent. Definitely...
