Took my wife on our 2nd anniversary. For starters, the manager was at the front desk, not even paying attention to his surroundings. We get seated and it takes a few minutes for our server to get there. Ok, well I asked for a sweet tea, my wife, a mixed drink, they had to go get her the menu. Wait another, 6 or 7 minutes, just for the server to return with nothing in hand, she then says the don't have sweet tea, I'll take a water. My wife, where's the drink menu? I'll get it for you she says... another 5 minutes go by and my tells me, she's standing over there by the bar on her phone. I said, really? To which my wife replied, yes really... I said let's go, we got up and walked out. On the way out, the manager at the front, tells me to have a nice day... didn't even realize a customer walked out!!! Absolutely terrible customer service. I do a lot of traveling for work, so I eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants. This was not one of the best. When I arrived, the hostess noticed me standing there, but continued to roll silverware and talk to another employee for a while. She seated me at a dirty table. I tried to call out to her it was dirty but she walked off. I seated myself at the clean table next to the first one. The table was across from the bar, which was loud and a little rowdy at times. I got a menu, which was dripping with wet salsa on one page and had sticky soft drink on the next. My waiter (Celbin) was friendly and helpful when I ordered. After I got my food, I was there another 40 minutes but never saw my waiter again until I asked for my check. My drink had been empty for some time but I was never offered a refill. The food itself was utterly unremarkable. I got a quesadilla. The chicken was good, but there was nothing else in it. It was also unsliced. I just don’t get it……$33+ for two under proportioned to go entrees, a shrimp and rice on potato’s plate, with a side of refried beans and a burrito and quesadilla combo that had a sparsely served amount of rice and beans. The rice was on both meals was not red Mexican style rice and why refrigerator cold red sauce was poured on top of the burrito, beats me. The quesadilla turned out to be some pulled beef wrapped in a small flour tortilla…,.IT WAS NOT WHAT I ORDERED and on top of arriving at the restaurant 20 minutes after I called in my order as told to me by whomever I spoke with when I called my order in I had yo wait an additional 10 minutes, and after all that and paying nearly $40 the chips sent with the meal were at the starting to get stale stage……….
