ANOTHER EDIT: Trust me ma'am. Contrary to your remark we never once mistreated or talked down to your employees. That is not us. We ate our ice cream standing up as the benches were soaking wet and we did not want the grand kid eating in the car. I do wish you all well and hope you thrive. EDIT: Ma'am. Just saw your angry video online explaining why the inside is not open. And yes, you are angry and it is not a good look. Sounds like your intent is to focus more on the fund-raising side of things and that is fine. Financially it may be a smart decision. I can only assume that the original business plan was just not cutting it financially so other plans had to be made. That's fine but sitting outside to eat ice cream is not always an option. Mainly due to weather of course....... ORIGINAL: My review has nothing to do but with a decision made here which should be reconsidered. A group of us arrived the other day on a sunny but chilly/windy day after it had rained. Wife went up before the rest of us and learned the inside is no longer available to use and we'd have to sit outside. This was unacceptable as we know how nice/clean and beautiful the interior is. Mainly due to the fact all the benches were soaking wet from the rains still we decided to leave. I really hope the owner reconsiders this decision to no longer open the doors to its customers as the weather is not always agreeable to want to sit outside. And we were told by employees that the inside would not be open that day or any other. Reconsider this and we'll...
Read moreWe visited on a Saturday night in early November 2024 around 7:15 PM (8PM close). There was a group of teens who were just completing their order when we arrived and as we were leaving another couple of older adults showed up. So not super busy on this 50ish degree night. Only had window service and no indoor service. We parked on the street and went around back.
Atmosphere was great. Lots of fun theming, decor, decorations and lights. Even though it was dark out we felt safe the entire time. Plenty of seating out front and in back.
So many flavors and options to choose from. We ordered 5 milkshakes (Coffee Crunch, PB+J, Peppermint Stick, Red Raspberry Cheesecake and Black Raspberry Extreme). Every single one was amazing. Took maybe 5-10 mins to make. You order at window and they deliver from door on the back. We did not stay to eat and enjoy the atmosphere as it was pretty cold out. We took shakes back to our hotel room.
Service was fantastic. Staff let us try a couple of flavors before we picked which ones we wanted to commit to. Super friendly and patient with indecisive kids (and adults).
Price was reasonable for the quality you get. If we were in town or driving through, we would certainly stop by here again for a...
Read moreSugar Creek Snowy & Sweet is more than just an ice cream shop, it’s an experience. The building itself is unique and charming, with plenty of personality inside. There are many tables to choose from, so whether you’re with family, friends, or just stopping in for a quick treat, it’s easy to find a comfortable spot. I also love that they offer outside seating, which is perfect on nice days.
This shop is very kid-friendly, and you can tell they’ve put thought into making families feel welcome. Each table is stocked with cleaning supplies, including baby wipes, so you can easily clean up any little spills or messes—such a thoughtful touch that makes the experience even better.
The employees are another highlight. They’re friendly, patient, and happy to answer questions or offer suggestions if you’re undecided. Their warm service adds to the overall welcoming atmosphere.
Between the fun setting, the family-friendly setup, and the great staff, this is definitely a place worth visiting...
