This a very nice hidden gem. We were visiting from Colorado, and stopped there for dinner. The staff was really nice and didn't force talk. We talked about football, they are big with their Sooners, I'm a university of Texas fan so I had to take the jabs as they won the bragging rights again this year. They got all our orders right, and the food was really good as well. We were worried there as it was a Friday night and when we pulled up, hardly any cars in the parking lot. But the motel clerk was adamant we'd like the food. So we gave it a go. Only issue we had is they gave us discount cards at the motel but we forgot to grab some and only had one, and assumed that one card should be enough to get the discount. But sadly, each one of us needed their own card. Now we know for next time. Still didn't change anything to what we thought of the place. Beware tho, the prices for dinner are a little up there. Their lunch menu tho is very affordable.

We love eating at Al’s! I love their appetizers, and really love their sea bass which isn’t on the menu for some reason, but you can ask for it. So good! Their cream brûlée is phenomenal and worth getting for sure as well! Their rolls served with dinner are warm and soft and served with real butter too which I love. The pollo fuego is also delicious and worth checking out as well.

The kids meal are a joke! Paid 8.99 for this, we could have went to McDonald’s and got more for less. Our food however was good, good flavor but overly inflated prices. How can one steakhouse with a larger steak be less AND taste better than this place? Is it because their isn’t many options in Woodward and they Eeenie meeenie miny mo the prices?

Most of the food tasted really great, but I thought the portions were lacking especially for the price. Potatoes are cheap... Didn't care for the processed grilled chicken breast in the side salad sized entrée - Grilled Chicken Salad. There was confusion on a few of the menu items because of the layout and arrangement of the lunch menu being incorporated into the main dinner menu. This only bugged me because there are some great food options served only at lunch, but no version of them on the dinner menu. We had reservations 1.5 months ahead of time along with 4 other large parties who had the same idea as our group, but they still weren't able to anticipate the amount of food that would be ordered because they were out of a few different main items. Main complaint was desserts. They smoothed that over by comping a few of the desserts though. Bread never made it to the table till half of us were finished eating. Steaks were on the tough side, so not the right grade of beef for the prices being charged. Medium-rare New York Strip was about as tender as a good sirloin from Western Sizzlin. Missed the temp of a few of the steaks on the ticket. Ordered Med-rare, arrived with a cold blue center. Easy fix, but @ $40 each they should hit the mark without us dealing with the anxiety of sending it back hoping for the best. The place was very clean and up to date, and the staff was polite. I'm wondering if half or more of my complaints were due to an off night and could be better on another night. Although on a $450 ticket I'll always expect...

Very very pricey. On the plus side the food was good. Didn't like the way we were recieved at first. They asked if we had a reservation? I said no that we were from out of town and did we need one? They said no. So I didn't understand why the cold attitude. We had five people and was asked if we would sit at a table and pull an extra chair up? We said no because the table would be too crowded to eat. So they acted like that was a problem. I then wasn't very nice and said come on let's just go somewhere else. Evidently this is a problem for them to find us a table. They then got very nice and found us a table. Everything went smoothly until we went to pay out. Two separate tickets in two separate little card and ticket holders and two separate credit cards. Waitress somehow put it all on one ticket. Still trying to figure that out. She got it straighten out...
