Carlitos Cafe — Restaurant in Woodward

We came here for breakfast and ordered sour dough bread, hash browns, and we really wanted a breakfast burrito. However, they didn’t have any on the menu. So, we ordered what was supposed to be the Carlitos omelet with dusted peppers, onions, bacon, and pulled pork with cheese in a tortilla instead of an omlet. Omg!!! It was amazingly delicious! The pulled pork was moist and the vegetables sautéed perfectly. It came with their homemade salsa which was the best I’ve had in Woodward. I would highly recommend this...

Instead of toast with our eggs breakfast, we wanted a biscuit with a side of gravy. This wasn’t allowed and instead we had to order biscuits and gravy. This would have been fine except the gravy was made with sour milk and wasn’t edible. I ate none of mine and my husband ate one of his biscuits w/o the gravy. We let the waitress know and she confirmed the milk used was sour and apologized. They did not remove the biscuits/gravy from our bill. I cannot recommend eating here based on...

The chicken fry was below your standard. Every time before they were by far the best in Woodward. It was tender but the edges were hard as a rock. Jan's salad was excellent as was the service. You get 4 stars for the reasons above but the fifth one you didn't get was because the CF tasted like it had been cooked and set aside the put back in the deepfry to heat it back up.
