Corner Lounge — Local services in Woodward

What a seriously cool little stop!

Stopped in to get a drink while on a big road trip goin' from California to Maine. We went off the beaten path instead of taking the interstate to have the opportunity to check out small American towns like Woodward and see pristine countryside not found at all back in CA.

The girl working there was super chill and friendly! Had great conversation and really enjoyed learning about the bar and various things about the town from her, a true local to the area. My buddy and I were the only ones in since we came in quite early, but I bet in later hours it becomes quite the poppin' place for locals!

It def was a very big highlight on my trip. She recommended us get food in another local establishment called The Annex and I gotta say I had the best burger I've ever had there! Thanks to her (gahhh so bad with names wish I could remember, Linsey/Kelsey maybe?) I got to have a really incredible experience in the town of Woodward!

I love Dive Bars and this one did not disappoint... Walked in and was greeted by the lovely bartender Zetha (aka Z) .. she is beautiful, kind and great friendly bartender. The owner Lois was there and she is a pistol and I was there for the 1st time, sat down and she hands me a Christmas Card... that should tell you how awesome this place is!!! They serve beer only but hey if you need a shot of whiskey you can walk across the street then come back :)) The locals are equally friendly and will chat you up and adopted you as their own. Had probably the most fun I've ever had and Woodward on a Wednesday night I did not expect to have and possibly even found a new job so don't ever underestimate this place always end up here the bartender is super awesome very attentive and very respectful...
