Normally I would give this place a 5 star but since reopening I don't get the same vibes like from before. They would interact with the costumer and had a way of making you feel like family even if you only went once every 3 months. They new so many peoples names by heart and just had a way of making you feel like you were having breakfast at grandmas house. The food was also spot on and the prices are amazing. Since reopening the prices are still fair but the homey feeling is gone. We didn't need to wait to be seated so that was a bonus and decided to seat outside. The waitress went straight to what do you want to drink? ...no good morning or introduction. A different waitress brought our food out and our waitress only came back to give us our bill. No one checked on us. The food was ok they might have a new chef because I always get French toast from them because they had a way of making them without tasting any eggs and that is no longer true the bacon used to be crispy yet chewy and today it was just crunch. I will be going back only to see if it was just an off day....
Read moreMost depressing $25 worth of breakfast i had in my life. I ordered the house special with one extra egg and sausage, my girlfriend ordered the house special with bacon and an order of 1 piece of French toast. Firstly, they gave me bacon instead of sausage. Secondly, the French toast was literally a slice of bread with some egg sugar and butter on it, I know that's what French toast "technically" is but I basically paid 2.45 for a pretentious slice of bread, those are bigger profit margins than what pizza places see. Lastly there portion size for bacon was phenomenal while there portion size for the home fries were abysmal. It was like half of a potato. So I paid 25 dollars for 5 pieces of bread, one or MAYBE even 2 potatoes, an entire packet of bacon and 5 eggs. If you're a fan of overcooked bacon this is your place. Otherwise, it's just overpriced for the quality of food. I'd much rather spend 5 or 10 dollars more for bellingham...
Read moreWanted to meet up with old friends for breakfast. This was centrally located for those coming from either MA or RI and it offers outdoor picnic-table-style seating in back. We ate outside. It is basically an area off the parking lot, but it was quiet and pleasant. The young woman who was our server was very attentive and friendly. She even brought out carafe with coffee so we could refill for ourselves. The menu has anything you would want from a neighborhood breakfast place. I had a Danny's bagel sandwich with egg, cheese and sausage. Very tasty and satisfying. The prices are very reasonable. All of us...
