Elm Street Pizza — Restaurant in Woonsocket

I just got off of the phone with a gentleman who was extremely rude and hung up the phone on me. I was trying to ask my mother in law what she wanted and he seemed to be getting frustrated cause he couldn’t hear what I was saying. He put me on hold 2 times and had the nerve to hang up the phone after I told him my whole order. We called back and asked to speak with the owner or manager and he hung the phone up on us. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE EXTREMELY RUDE BUSINESS! I’ve never been treated this way before. If you don’t have a good attitude to work stay in the back of the store SIR!

UPDATE/ RESPONSE TO OWNER:

Let’s start off with how I told you at the beginning of the call what I wanted and had my mother in law changing her mind so since I already had you on the phone I wanted to get the order straight so I wouldn’t have to call back and wait 30 mins to have someone answer it. Second, after the second time I was put on hold I finally had the order straight and told you what I wanted , you then proceeded to cut me off several times and told me to call back. Which I didn’t cause if I did I would’ve came at your throat like I’m doing right now. Third, I might’ve sounded like a “confused little girl” but I’m actually a well put together young woman. So maybe next time instead of rushing people off the phone you take the time to get orders correct so you don’t make mistakes like your previous reviews state. I will apologize (something your customer service reps can’t do) for not having the order discussed prior to calling. That was my mistake. I used to go here multiple times a week for lunch and dinner and it was always pretty consistent. The last few times has been horrible. The last time will be the last time I order from there at all. Called on my way home from work (around 8pm). Got there a half hour later for 2 sandwiches, potato skins and onion rings.. waited an additional 25 minutes. Finally got it home and the 2 grinders were wrong. Wrong toppings and both were toasted, the steak sandwich was completely burnt and had what looks like ketchup on it (which wasn’t asked for). Called back and the girl said they would remake it. We waited a few minutes and walked down there. When we get there the girl asks if our orders done yet.. the manager says “I have 8 orders in front of them, they’re gonna have to wait.”.. I work in a restaurant and when you screw someone’s order up they get moved to the front of the line so it can be fixed. We waited an additional HOUR for our food (2 sandwiches).. which we had to tell them over 15 times how they were. (House steak, light mushrooms - not toasted & an Italian - not toasted, dressing on the side).. not difficult sandwiches as all. By the time we got home the potato skins and onion rings were cold. A few years back I had ordered a lot of food and the order came out to almost $150 had a few people over and at the end of the order (After taking my card number and processing the order the manager asked my to show ID to the driver when he had gotten there..of course I disagreed it felt demeaning and disrespectful. He then just argued why it wasn't rather than understanding how disrespectful it appeared and finally budged not to make problem after I asked for my money back and canceled the order. I didn't do business with them for a couple years. Fast-forward to today April 2024.(supposedly under new management) I call and the owner picked up sounding overwhelmed in the process having difficulty hearing my order at the end of it I asked for the price and noted that I'd be using my card(rather than cash)he puts me on hold which is cool I hear how busy it sounds ,but then takes 3 orders before I finally hang up and call back to cancel my order.
