I will not denied the quality of the food, but the service needs improvement. The owner (woman) is vindictive and rude. I stopped going there for many years because I was ignored by her twin sister for about thirty minutes. When I asked her if she would take my order, she gave me a terrible attitude; not to mention the owner. Days later, I placed an order online, she told me that they were not using credit cards anymore. Minutes later, my brother placed an order with credit card, and she took it right away. For more than four years I stop getting food from there, until Grubhub showed up. I recently placed an other at their restaurant. All of the sudden I got a call from Grubhub. The order got canceled by the owner. She knew the order came from me, so she canceled it (I knew the husband before they open this restaurant).
It’s unfortunate such behavior. The husband is a nice person. He’s hardworking and pleasant; but his wife and family has a lot to desire. We are very lucky to have several Salvadoran restaurants in Worcester: Fuente de Vida (5 stars), Nuevo Amanecer (5 stars), and others. Incidentally, I am not the only one complaining about the service. Most of the comments I read refer to their poor peoples...
Read moreWonderful little place. We went on a Thursday at 5pm. There was no wait, and the service was great. Food came out within reasonable time. I read all the reviews and had some concerns, but I was pleasantly surprised. That said, the food was absolutely amazing, hand-made, fresh, authentic, and so, so delicious. Prices are low and you get a lot of food. I'll say it again, delicious amazing authentic fresh food in large portion, and the prices are amazing. We had the chips and salsa, totally fresh made so good. Pupusa, with cheese beans and pork, best I've ever had hands down. Cheese quesadilla, so much chees, and the tortilla was fresh and just so good. Fajitas, amazing! And the Bandejas Mixta, I was beside mysel. Everythingg was so amazing. I recommend this place, 100%...
Read moreHorrible! If I could give negative stars I would. This is not my first time coming here but let me tell you I have never ever been served so badly and given such horrible food. I came sat down and waited 10 min while looking straight at my server. I asked for a soup and they don't have it. I asked for tamales and they don't have it. I asked for empanadas and they don't have it. I settle for some Yuca with Chicarrón. I get a huge plate full of yuka and I'm not lying 4 tiny I mean tiny pieces of chicharrón over cooked. I tell the server and she starts giving me attitude. I ask for ketchup and she brings me out 1 small ketchup packets, apparently they don't have bottles of ketchup. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! -4...
