Fantastic Pizza & Cafe — Restaurant in Worcester

#35 on the Worcester Pizza Quest FANTASTIC PIZZA popped up next on my list. Having such a bold name let's hope they fit the name. Placed the call and a friendly woman answer the phone took my order of a large cheese pizza and small fries she made it a pleasant experience.

Fantastic pizza is located on Main Street down the road from Clark University and beside an old radio station. Walking in you notice the typical run down but clean New England pizza restaurant. At the counter was a woman with a beaming smile happily greeting me to Fantastic pizza. The pizza was paid for and given in a professional and welcoming manner providing a pleasant experience.

On the way home I was happy with the service but I could smell the pizza in the car and did not give me that great feeling because the aroma was a Greek bready smell. At home opening the box I was not surprised by the also common Greek crust. The pizza looked perfectly cooked and had a good amount of cheese. The pizza flavor was a bit of a surprise since this seemed to be a typical Greek pizza. The sauce had a sweetness, good tomato and spice flavor. The sauce and the extra than normal cheese seemed to enhance the pizza. At first I expected the same hum drum Greek pizza but this did have something extra.

I would like to put the review into perspective of my current Pizza Quest of Worcester. Normal Greek style pizza usually gets 2 stars vs. normal thin style (New York, Italian) pizza usually gets 3 starts. This is based on my preference of thin pizzas. Fantastic pizza presented a happy and welcoming atmosphere and had an above average Greek pizza. This is not a pizza that you would bring special out of town friends to but if you were driving by and wanted pizza you would stop by and know you're getting a good solid Greek pizza. They deserve 3 1/2 stars but Yelp does not allow it, 4 stars is going too far and 3 does not seem enough. Good people and a good Greek pizza make this a Good pizza not a...

The rice didn't have much flavour although smelled really delicious. The Claim to have the best general gau chicken in the best orange chicken turned out not to be true although the chicken itself was indeed the freshest chicken, the flavour renditions of theirs was just not that great. The samosas were OK nothing to get excited about however, and the spicy chicken that they had was so so and could have tasted as fresh as the other chicken mentioned above. The dessert was only OK, the Pasta dish was good and had no problems with it. I think it was the tikka masala Alfredo or something like that. The people were nice. Did not care for the subs, and I would never buy shawarmas from there again. It was not your typical selected meat and therefore likely not cooked in that vertical rotisserie fashion. It was a big disappoint. All in all, money wasted on curiosity. Also the chicken pieces in general gau's and orange chicken dishes were too big...

They post an add for customers to feel bad & order from them... to take over 2.5 hours to deliver food

I called at 5:24 today put in an order Called at 6 to ask for some sauce for my wings they told me food was almost done at 6:00 I called at 7 offered to pick up my food they said my food just left... (I live 3 min from this place) Called back at 7:30 they tell me again my food just left

Spoke to the person in charged he apologized and blamed it on the driver didn’t even offer a discount

It is now 7:50 I just called to cancel my order because again the driver is on his way.

You should not advertise on FB if you can’t keep your customers happy. I understand you are busy and this is why I offered to Pick up...
