The Thompson mexican grill — Restaurant in Worthington

i ordered my daughter the kids tacos with french fries on the side since that was a choice on the menu & she brought out tacos with rice & beans. i let her know the situation & she then disagreed but then said fine ok in a rude way & never came back to our table to ask if we needed refills or if we were okay the whole time we were there. she also had someone else bring out the fries. my bf had to get up & ask for a box to go since she never acknowledge us. so we get up to pay & she had already charged us as i looked on her screen & saw that she charged us 4.99 for french fries that i know i had asked for in the first place since my daughter doesn’t eat rice & beans. so it makes no sense that i wouldn’t ask for the fries with my daughters plate.

The main entrees are ok. Quantity and presentation is nice but I am still struggling with the total satisfying flavor. I cannot give a higher rating just for the fact the chips are cold and stale tasting and the salsa a poor attempt of adding "Mexican flavoring" to tomato sauce. Too much garlic powder and no kick. Bleh!

11/16: I will stand by my review of quantity and presentation. However, I nearly gagged, ok I did gag and spit out the corn chips and salsa we were served. OM..GEEE! HAS TO BE THE WORST! Went there to eat around 8pm. Only 2 other tables filled. My husband placed his order of aguachile "soup" for an appetizer and a carna asada meal. I ordered queso dip for an appetizer and chille rellanos for a meal... my husband's "soup" came and I was informed they no longer had the chille rellanos and the waiter walked away and brought back my husband's Carne asada and didn't return to our table at all. He was behind the bar mixing drinks for himself.... We never got the queso and I didn't get a meal. We went up to pay for our tab and the queso was on there I asked them to remove it paid our tab and left. It was very disappointing to see a business...
