So l waited a few days before doing this so l can be fair on May 5th l called in advance and explain there would be 6 of us dinning at 4pm l was told we should be okay and didn't need to call ahead my husband and l with our 3 year old granddaughter showed up at 3:45 we was told if we take a table we would only have 1 hour to eat l try to explain l try calling ahead and was told there would be no problem then l was told it wouldn't been a problem but then someone called in with a big group. I thought that's why people call in so they can accommodate if it wasn't for us meeting people we would of left. We settled on a high top at the bar end we had to put my granddaughter on a long high top seat my husband and l had to put our arms around her back to make sure she didn't fall. We waited for about 20 minutes and had to ask is anyone was working our table when we did get our waitress she was very nice and explain she didn't know she had a table and apologize. You can tell we wasn't in her area it took a very long time to get our drinks and when we was able to order she didn't know the menu very well. Try getting a refill was almost non-existence. The stuff green peppers was very good the fish dinner was good but not for that price the prime rib dinner was very bland the scalloped potatoes was very bland it was almost like they chop up a bake potatoe and just melt cheese over it, the mac and cheese was very good even though they forgot the French fries the barbecue platter was very dry too. When we was able to get a refill on our drinks they ran out of Pepsi l took it up to the bar to let them know to see if we could get another pop, when the waitress came by to check on us we told her what happened she went to check on the Pepsi came back said it's going to be awhile would you like something else ? Told her we would take a root beer she came back with a lemonade. I ordered a drink and watch it sit on the bar for 15 min, before l got it. When they went to take our plates away they spilled the juice all over me they did apologize and gave me some napkins. I also didn't appreciate the swearing 2 tables down we don't talk like that in front of my granddaughter l feel if we would've a table in the dining area it would of not been so loud and we wouldn't have to listen to them type of words. The waitress was running her butt off and doing the best she could, but you can tell she was overwhelmed and she was very nice and you really should look at your parking situation there is no place to park the parking lot is...
Read moreUpdate everything was perfect. You just have to ask for the bar area. Alexis the bar tender/waitress was great and made sure everything was great.
Update: well my husband wants to give this place another try. I will update as soon as we are done. Wish us luck đ
My husband has been going here a few weeks now. But he orders almost the same thing everytime. The fish, perch, or jumbo panko shrimp. Each time they have been perfect especially with the side of fries and baked beans. That I will say is an A+. That's why I had to give this place at least a 3 star review at the most. If not for this I would have given it a 1 star.
Ok back to how today was when I joined him. I ordered the calamari fried. Oh my goodness this was one of the best I have ever had. For my meal I ordered the prime rib quesadilla. No sides with it or any lettuce or tomato either. This was 17 dollars which would have been fine if I did not get a gloppy mess. The tortilla shell was so soggy on the bottom I could not even hold it or cut it. I ordered the baked beans which were phenomenal. The Mac n cheese which was chalky, grainy, and no flavor what so ever. When I told the waitress she said a snotty comment "it's not Kraft Mac n cheese". Excuse me but I'm an no child and I know what kind of food I like. The waitress was the door greeter also . I sent the Mac n cheese back and ordered the regular butter garlic noodles. I mean how can a place mess this up. I was wrong, they brought me plain flavored noodles, with a little parmesan cheese sprinkled on the top. I was thinking about getting the all u can eat salad bar until the flies and gnats we're buzzing all around. Out of a $70 order, I feel like I waisted almost half of the food
This place should be a all seafood place. When it comes to other stuff they need to stay out of...

I stopped into Major Biddles while in the area for business and looking for a good place to eat. This Local Spot for American Traditional, BBQ and Seafood, had good reviews so I decided to give it shot. I went in and started walking around looking for a place to eat and taking some photos of the place. I was accosted by one of the managers who wondered why I was walking around taking pictures. After a short chat and explaining that I was a food blogger and Yelp Elite, we then had a nice conversation about the place and the food.
I sat in the bar area and decided on a couple of appetizers and then the Perch Piccata for my main course. Hot rolls came out first and they were very fresh and delicious. I started my meal off with the tender and juicy Cajun Steak tips made with tenderloin tips, mushrooms, and cajun zip and served with pita bread. I was just starting to enjoy my steak tips when the Piccata and my second app, the Jacked-up Sprouts came out pretty much all at the same time. Suddenly I was inundated with food with no break or pause between everything I ordered. This was a 'Major' timing issue as I had a massive amount of food all served at once. I was able to try a little of everything before I got full. My server asked me if I wanted to reheat my Piccata but that would have just made it mushy and unappetizing.
When a diner comes in alone and tells the staff they are in no rush, it's simple, just fire the next course when they are done with the one before it. On this visit, it was simply a timing issue which threw me off. I liked the place and food overall, but one star was lost due to how the food was served. I would go back again if not just to try the barbecue which I saw many of the guests ordering. Hopefully, they get the timing...
