Every Taco Bell pick up for me when I'm doing doordash or GrubHub is extremely excruciating. The most memorable experience I had with a recent Taco Bell pick up, is at the 1019 Michigan Street Taco Bell and it was painful to endure and to watch because I came at around 10 p.m. to pick up a Taco Bell order through GrubHub, and I had gotten a notification on my phone that the food was ready for pickup, but then came to the counter and they seemed really overwhelmed, were swearing and talking inappropriately within earshot of customers, they had a handful of people at the drive-thru but we're not terribly busy. But to them, it was "awful" and they couldn't handle it apparently, after a few minutes standing at the counter and not hearing any kind of update on the order, I inquired with the manager a young man that night, and I asked why it marked it as ready for pickup on my app when it wasn't actually ready, and then I asked him how long it would be, and he rudely answered I don't know and his tone just scream sarcastic and he was ready to pounce on somebody because of how irritated he was with how "busy" that night was. He immediately got loud with me and both of us were basically talking back and forth on top of each other until he finally said all right you can go he refused to give me the order. I went outside flabbergasted, and had to call support to explain the situation. At that time oh, I hadn't even left the property of the Taco Bell yet and another order came in for the same Taco Bell. So I figured, I'll go through the drive-thru and see if I get somebody else and be able to get my order. So, sitting in the drive through the woman in front of me was looking very upset, and was getting out of her vehicle and it looked like somebody was pulling her arm through the window and it was this weird back and forth thing. So I got out of my vehicle, and noticed Taco Bell shut all of their lights off as if they were closing early, and this woman, she looked Korean (I think)and so there was a little bit of a language barrier, she's frantic and shows me that her hand is cut because she got her hand slammed in the window. She explains to me that she pulled the window open and try to show them something on her phone cuz she couldn't explain it verbally, and they slammed the window on her hand and injured her. So the police were called and I stayed to give a witness statement, and at this point I obviously couldn't even get my order to deliver it yet again for GrubHub, and this Taco Bell has got my mind absolutely BLOWN at this point. They physically assaulted a customer right in front of me. I understand that she shouldn't have forced that window open, but they didn't have to assault her in response. I ended up getting some penalties on my Grubhub account as a result of this Taco Bell, and to this day, I refused any orders to that place because I cannot spasm in my head that these people are actually employees and represent a big-name restaurant like that. I think they should fire the entire staff there, hire all new employees, and retrain them to act like normal human beings. If I could give zero Stars I...
Read moreWent through the drive thru and one of the managers (Shaniya or something) personally handed me the wrong order. After noticing it was nowhere near what I had just paid for I backed up next the the line of cars and the next car let me back to the window (since I was just there). Said manager immediately started yelling at me that I needed to go around and wait in line all over again. I said no you need to give me my f-ing food. She then told me I wasn't getting anything unless I waited in line all over again. She kept saying I was cutting in front of everyone despite that fact she had just given me the wrong order. I said fine gimme my money back. Again she said no, told me to go around, told me I was cutting in line again, and closed the window and walked away. She vehemently refused to give me the food I just paid for or the money I just paid with. Keep in mind there are 7 cars behind me. When another manager tried to help me and I was explaining what happened, the crazy manager was yelling over top of both me and the actually decent manager, calling me a liar, and telling the other manager that I called her a b* even though I never called her anything but she called me b* at least 6-7 times. Then she tried to close the window on the other manager's face to prevent him from helping me at the expense of all the other customers, so professional. Eventually the not-crazy manager helped me out but jokes on her I got a free large pop and $10 back to my...
Read moreThe workers here were EXTREMELY rude to me! I had an very stressful day today and hadn't even gotten a chance to eat throughout my entire day. I was in the drive through line desideing what I wanted to order, and they rudly told me I had to leave and refused to let me order my food. I even spoke to them in a well mannered tone in return and was still getting yelled at for ordering what I wanted. All I wanted was 2 tacos and a refreshing drink. But instead I was approached in a very rude manner, and was told to leave the drive through. So I walk inside and kindly ask for a couple tacos, and they ambarrasingly and rudely kick me out of the restaurant in front of everyone there and never served me my food. I didn't eat anything all day and started work at 4:00, because of this situation I had to go my whole entire day hungry until I got home at 11:00pm. If I had remembered to get the name of the ladies working this afternoon I would have reported them. I will NEVER come back here again, and will be strongly recommending all of my friends and family to never come to this company in this particular location. I was VERY...
