Tamales Mary — Restaurant in Wyoming

OK where do i start. First of all i don't appreciate being lied too. This was a really bad experience. I went there for the menudo, called first since I'm 25 minutes away. Didn't want the buffet being there was a hair in the menudo. So I ordered some from the menu along with some tamales. Paid $19.04 for 3 tamales and a small bowl of menudo. I watched an employ grab menudo from the buffet. When the server brought me my food i asked did this come from the buffet, she replied no. But when i asked the girl that got it she said yes. Totally disgusting! The server also said the food from the buffet is thrown away, and at the same time another employ was covering the food bins with plastic wrap and putting them in the refrigerator that's on the back wall. You know what I'm talking about if you have been there before. Not only do they have dirty dishes bin next to the clean plates and silverware . No gloves are being worn when handling food. The tamales tasted like they pulled them out of the freezer and microwaved them. I will never eat or recommend this place again. I'm not one to leave reviews but this place is a health risk and don't know how anyone could leave a positive review. They either don't know what a tamales should taste like and don't care about...

I stumbled upon Tamales Mary while driving around looking for a new Mexican spot to try, and what a find! This place is a quick in-and-out style restaurant, but the food and service make it stand out.

The staff were very friendly, and everything was made fresh right in front of me. You can tell it’s authentic, with a welcoming atmosphere and food that feels homemade.

The building is simple and located next to a laundromat. The inside is older, but don’t let that fool you. The food more than makes up for it!

I tried the taco with marinated pork, and it was absolutely delicious…savory, perfectly seasoned, and soooooo full of flavor. The chicken tostada was just as impressive: crunchy, fresh, and loaded with toppings! Just the way I like it.

I finally tried this place out yesterday. I ordered over the phone and because of language barrier, I was prepared for my order to be wrong. I ordered two steak tacos with light cheese and light onions. I also got two red pork tamales and rice. When I got there I was impressed with how clean the place was (Wyoming location)....waited in line 10min but ok I got a chance to watch how things flow. Very organized consistent cleaning and wiping things down. Customer service was good.... My steak tacos were perfect...tender, moist, flavorful. The green sauce was sooo freaking good! My rice was fresh, moist and flavorful. Now, my tamales were just ok. I like a perfect balance of Masa and meat and the dough was a bit heavy. The red sauce was a bit bland with heat but the tamale was moist. I'm going to try them again and try another flavor tamale...I will always go to them for...
