Taqueria Maravatio — Restaurant in Wyoming

This place is a complete disappointent.

I am willing to bet that they use frozen food for a lot of their stuff. I ordered what I thought was a wet burrito and when the burrito arrived, there was no cheese on top of it. I asked them if they would put cheese on it and they were willing to but didn't seem happy about it. However it's not a taco/cheddar cheese they have. It was either Mozzarella or some other white cheese they use. The reason I think it's frozen food is that they put the toppings in a shell and put it in a microwave. It was kind of pricey as well for what you get.

Also in a typical restaurant, if appetizers are ordered, they should be brought out to the table before the entree is delivered. That was clearly not the case of what happened during my visit. My burrito was brought out before the chips and salsa. Speaking of salsa, they do not have mild salsa at all and hot is too spicy for me.

Now the chips weren't bad though. Those and the mexican coca-cola I ordered were probably the items I liked the best during my visit.

Then after our waiter delivered the food, he pretty much abandoned us. I think he left without saying anything to us saying that he was leaving and that someone else would take over.

I did learn later on that this place has changed names over the last few months like four times. I went there last night as I heard this place had good food in the past but this clearly was not the case.

Overview, highly recommend you go somewhere else

1.Ordered a to go order, was told it would take 15 mins, I show up 12 mins later and the place was absolutely empty, I waited 20 mins for my food after I arrived, they basically waited for me to show up to start making my food, why offer a togo service if they aren't going to go thru with the orders that are placed. (This has happened to me twice, and I've only been to this restaurant 2 times)

I ordered my torta, no tomato, no onion, no avacado, and some tacos and a different torta. When they handed me my food I asked which of the two tortas was mine (no tomato ect), the worker grabbed a torta and turned around to talk with the cook, they opened the torta and they noticed it had everything it was not suppose to have, the cook mumbled something and the worker that attended me said "what if they are allergic", he gave her a rude look and acted like he did something and wrapped up the torta, she then handed marked the wrapper with an X and said here you go this is the torta you asked for, I get home and see my torta was made...

Horrible customer service. We asked for one of their $9.99 meals that have 2 steak tacos with rice and beans. We were given two meals, but the waitress said there’s nothing she can do, we were stuck with the two meals (even though that’s not what we ordered). Then we asked for water with cut up lime, and they made some concoction that had seeds in it. We were given chips that were a day old and re dipped in the fryer, and when we told them they tasted old, they threw them away and said “no more chips for the day, that was it”. The rice was actually good, but the beans tasted of metal like the can they were in When we went to check out, the concoction that she made up was rung up as $4!!!! And it wasn’t even drank due to how nasty it was. There’s no way I will ever be back here. She then caught an attitude when we asked for the concoction to be removed, and would...
