Wyoming Tavern aka Brown's — Restaurant in Wyoming

Went here with a group an hour before last call, when we entered we were literally screamed at “Last call, I can’t get you drinks”. Okay , cool with us. We will chill and hang out. Except maybe the bartender didn’t understand the flurry of “Okay”’s the group was giving her because she kept repeating it. So despite the fact they won’t serve us drinks we still hang out.

Then when closing another rude bartender/waitress/angry lady comes to our group and tells us “Thank you all for nothing”. I’m a little confused because you are the ones who refused service, so shouldn’t our group be thanking your establishment for “nothing”? Honestly, I wouldn’t even be writing this review if the people in this place weren’t so unwelcoming and rude.

This dive bar itself is just here to give the geriatric alcoholic locals somewhere to drink starting at 9am. Don’t wear shoes you like because the sticky floors might steal them right off your feet. The uneven floors throughout are a safety concern for anyone over the age of 55, which is about 99% of the place at any given time. Food is hit or miss, but that applies to basically any dive bar. Don’t play music on the juke box that the locals don’t like because they will make it known and do what they can to get the song sent to the bottom of the queue.

Okay I think I’ve hit on why I rated Service 1-Star, and the food 1-Star. I would like to explain the only reason I rated the atmosphere 2-Stars is because our group was there to help liven the place up a bit. Otherwise, I bet that also falls under 1-Star majority of the time as well.

The lady working 07/02/2025 was very rude and hateful to my husband tonight stating he did not tip her enough the last time we were here! Stating she’d rather have him tip nothing because it was “insulting” for how much he tipped last time. She shouldn’t be working with the public if she is going to be talking to PAYING customers like this. I will NOT be returning after this incident. This is ridiculous and it should have never been a thing to begin with. She was raising her voice and the whole nine yards and everyone was looking at us. That’s awesome right! Place is mid at best, run down, most certainly overpriced drinks. Lady decided to confront a bunch of drunk people on reasoning for a lower tip. I think that’s unprofessional, if you get a low tip, I can understand a frustration for it, what I don’t understand is going out of your way to demand said 20% tip.
