Great Wall — Restaurant in Yanceyville

I stopped by Great Wall with a good friend of mine, and his daughter whom live in Yanceyville. Great Wall has pretty good food, and the customer service seems friendly. The thing that turns me off though to this place is the strangeness of the staff. My friends daughter is about 11 years old. She sat while we ordered the food. While we were ordering, a skinny cook came from behind the counter, walked over and just took a picture of my friends daughter without even saying a word. We told the cook to delete the picture and asked what he was doing. The lady at the counter said its just a picture! and tried to tell us its no problem. But its a big problem when you don't respect people and their wishes. My friend didnt want his daughter photographed. The cook deleted the picture but the lady said i think its very strange you make him delete the photo. I think its very strange she would say that. Lets face it, you have to be a pretty weird person to just randomly take pictures of someones kids, and an even weirder person to uphold that behaviour. The lady kept going on about it its just a picture. i don't understand why you want him to delete it so it definitely wasn't a communication issue. She knew what she was saying. I wouldnt come back here just based on the fact they display this kind of...

I would say that this is the best Chinese restaurant in town, but it’s the ONLY one in town 😂.

Nevertheless, I will be honest and say that this is THE BEST Chinese restaurant I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining at 💯. Honestly most people mimic my sentiments.

You don’t have to trust my review, I urge you to go and visit for yourself. The egg rolls are delicious, the chicken is always fresh, the Lo Mein is a must try. I have never tried a dish that wasn’t up to par to be honest. The food honestly tastes like they cook with soul, the food is very well seasoned (naturally seasoned). The wait? It’s virtually no wait, I’ve never waited over 10-15 minutes for my food.

My husband would always brag about this place as he grew up in Yanceyville and whenever we visit we would always stop by here to get something to eat. After my most recent visit I found a bug cooked in with my food halfway through eating it. I am currently 8 months pregnant and absolutely disgusted and have been throwing up every since eating this food last night.

I was asked to take a photo of the bug and they would refund me - which they did and I also presented the actual bug to them in a ziplock bag.
