2 employees on staff no other customers, its a rainy day and one of the employees parked their car blocking the walkway. Had to walk through wet grass to use walkway. Looked like a deliberate parking to block the walkway to me. Remembered the exit where the handicapped ramp is on the side of the building so used that exit to go out. The young man making my husbands sandwich was attentive and immaculate making it, it was the woman that came from out back with cut tomatoes that reached across in front of the young man and over my husbands sandwich to switch out the tomatoes that made this experience a 1 star. The young man stepped back, the woman stepped forward with her dirty shirt over my husband's sandwich to finish the swap out. The young man reached across in front of her and pulled the sandwich toward himself away from her chest to finish making it. Instead of allowing him to finish making the sandwich she started a conversation with him and how it didn't take long to slice the tomatoes and about a couple of other things. He was finally able to finish the sandwich and cash me out. I was dumbfounded! The young man did great, this rating is the blocked walkway and the woman's unprofessional and gross incompetence. She could have waited for him to be done making the sandwich before doing what she did. We have had the most horrible experiences at this location. Only going back when we know there are new employees, hoping it will be better and still disappointed. We live and work in Yarmouth and will travel to a different town to get our Subway. Read moreAfter 30 plus years of being a very satisfied customer of Subway and having spent literally thousands of dollars there I was terribly disappointed by the treatment I received at this Subway off 295 in Yarmouth. My wife and I were traveling from western Mass with our grandson to a friend's home in Corea ME. We desperately needed a restroom. We pulled off the highway and first went to a Mobil station with convenience store but their restrooms were out of service due to vandalism. We went 250 feet to this Subway. My wife went in first as was only appropriate and used the restroom. She came out and I went in. The staff there would NOT ALLOW me to use the restroom without making a purchase. I explained our situation and they told me in no uncertain terms, no purchase no use of the bathroom. As a 70 year old senior with urinary tract challenges, I was extremely in need of a restroom. What were they going to do, arrest me? Nevertheless I left and found someplace else much more friendly to their customers. Instead of trying to help me, the older gentleman was extremely rude and treated it as if I was wrong and annoying him. Offered to show the email confirmation to which he said they can't do anything and I needed to "call Subway" despite this being a franchise location...so to get my lunch I had to wait in line and pay a second time. When I tried to discuss the matter with the nice lady at the register, the rude guy jumped in again and said "we already told you call Subway!"
