El Palenque Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Yazoo City

Well on their website it states they are open till 10pm. We arrived a lil after 8:30pm and as soon as we came in the door we was asked how many and we said two. They then said that their credit card machine was down so they could only take cash and we could go to a ATM and pull out cash and come back... So we did right across the street and it only took a couple min and when we came back in (@ 8:44pm) they said they was closed and to come back tomorrow. Well my friend got a lil upset and told them if and as we walked out they mumbled some derogatory words to us. So me and my husband and a friend went to this restaurant on 2/17/16 order some lime margaritas and they were horrible. Then we discretely told the owner we was not being rude just letting him know that the drinks was waterdown and tasted bad.. don't get me wrong it was full of liquor but the drinks had no flavor. And he just brush us off.. He didn't care that we were unsatisfied. Plus the glass they gave my husband was dirty and he didn't even apologize. Been eating here off and on for 13 years. Decided I have to let this place go and hope they just close down. The owner changes his price or tries to say they charge between 2-5$ service charges when you pay for your food. They are always changing prices. The food is okay but it's not good or great. They are nice people but they have no customer service skills. People keep saying how great this place is food wise but you can make something at home that tastes better and the price isnt worth is. The other 2 Mexican restaurants in town are 100% better in every aspect...
