This place is always quite wonderful to come to. We usually will go to grab a quick bite jusy before or between movies. They are ALWAYS prompt to come to greet you, drop off some waters and popcorn and get your order with a quick question of like "are we going to see movies..." etc. So they probably now if your in a time crunch. The place is really nice, not the biggest place but it's clean and pleasant atmosphere; it can at times get quite busy in there but we haven't yet to had to wait for a seat or been too cramped to wanna stay. The employee's name that is usually our "server" is " Chase". we are always very impressed with his professionalism, timeliness, friendliness and attention to his job to please us as the customer. I was ESPECUALY impressed this last time we went in and he came to wait on us and he greeted us and asked "hello guys, welcome back, so would we be liking some fish and chips today or possibly some fish tacos....?? " (which is USUALLY what we get when we go therr) I was like "oh, WOW.. you remember US_and what WE usually come in and get..???!!" And he chuckled and stated " oh yea, I remember you guys and what allot of customers come in regularly get...." I was entirely EMPRESSED. I was so impressed that this particular time I even gave them a 20% tip with our bill. :we hadn't gotten much this time; we just got some cheesy spuds before our double movies we were going to see; so our bill wasn't much but regardless, THAT...
Read moreFood and drinks are ay overpriced. $20 for a trash can (mixed drink w/ a red bull)!!!!! YIKES! I don't even pay those drink prices in Vegas much less Yelm, WA.
Chicken chicken tenders (entree) - came with 2 pieces of flat gas station chicken and salty as hell fries.
Ordered french onion soup which they made and let sit until the cheese became a solid ball in a sqaure "bowl" with an inch of broth - waiter was GREAT and comped it and had it remade. When remade they put in a larger bowl and served right away. Soup was great after that.
Drinks took forever. We got popcorn but we don't always get it when eating here sometimes, even when sitting at the bar.
There is no AC. It was July in summertime and in the high 70s but it as HOT inside with no air flow. The kitchen must be AWFUL!
FLIES EVERYWHERE!!!
I've never left this place without having to ask for my check. I find this odd too and would think that because ya know it is connected to a movie theatre, that they would perhaps ask if someone was catching a movie or so on. If a customer shows up late and expects to be served RIGHT AWAY to make their movie...that is not acceptable...duh. But we were there an hour and 10 minutes before our movie and we ended up being 5 minutes late to it because of chicken strips and a bowl of soup that had to be remade. Ain't mad. I made the movie and don't mind missing trailers....
Read moreFirst of all, the food is fantastic and that’s what keeps us coming back. But the last time we came, right before Christmas, we stood at the entry for five minutes without anyone acknowledging us. We saw an empty table in the bar section that needed to be cleaned, but in all of my years, if you find an empty table in a bar, even if it needs attention, you grab it. My family and I went to sit down and one of the women working in the bar looked over at us. Instead of saying someone would be right over to clean the table, she said, very rudely, “Would you guys wait til the table is cleaned off?” It was snotty and made us feel very unwelcome. We ended up going back to the host station and waited for someone to finally seat us. If we hadn’t had our son visiting from college with us, we would’ve just left. But again, the food was great. Having a lady playing Christmas carols on the piano with a singalong was a nice touch too. I get that the holidays is a stressful time in the restaurant business, but there was no need for her to snap at us like she did. I’m not sure we will be back, great food...
