Falbo’s Rainbow Inn — Restaurant in Youngstown

Nice little bar/restaurant off the beaten path. Bar isn’t opened but they do serve alcohol. The owner was super friendly and very nice. Other waitresses very nice too. Food is homemade, made fresh daily (as far as I know). Went on a Friday about 5:30pm and it was packed. We sat on bar side which we like because it was less noisy with all the chatter in the dining area. We ordered the small fish platter. 1/2 fish sandwich, fries, coleslaw $10-11 reasonable. I also order a side of the Haluski (only make it during lent). I will say the fish was delish but the fish portion size to the 1/2 roll was rather small. The haluski was fabulous! Not what I was used to but so good! So good I overlooked the $5 side price. Again home made everything. Can’t wait to go back and try other menu items. I highly recommend...

Today, my husband and I came to Falbos. I have celiac disease, I know, I know, bad me. I have craved a fish sandwich for years and did research and looked for the best in the area, so when it hurt me later it would be worth it. I must say that you guys have the BEST fish sandwich in the area. My husband doesn't like fish and was impressed 🥰 my daughter is finishing the other half and says it is the best. The food, service is good and prices are reasonable! But the last time I was there I ordered the seafood platter and they didn't have any crab cakes, so they said they would substitute anything else on the platter in place of the crab cakes! I told the waitress what I wanted in place of the crab cakes, but I never got them! So I thought maybe they were going to knock a little bit of the price, but that didn't happen either!
