It was my mom's birthday so looking at the reviews we decided to go there for brunch. Service was great even though there was only one server for the whole place. I ordered sausage and gravy, I tried it and it was different, not that it was bad but it had a sweetness to it that I didn’t like so I asked the server to please take it, she asked if I wanted to take it home I said no thank you. She didn’t ask if I wanted something else or anything, I understand she was busy, no one came to check on us, no one came to refill our drinks or anything. As I said before, I understand she was the only one and even though it’s a small restaurant, taking care of all those tables by yourself is overwhelming (I was a server before) When I asked for the bill I noticed I have been charged for the sausage and gravy, I asked and she said she was gonna go get the manager, he came to the table and without hearing what I had to say he said “I sold over 150 of the same dish over the weekend and no one complained about it, so you ordered it you pay for it” and left, without even listening to me! The waiter came and said that she had her hands tied and couldn’t do anything because he is the OWNER. I said to her that if I’m gonna pay for it I will take it home or get a replacement. She said the owner said to charge me half off. That is not the point, I didn’t want free food or not pay for anything, I was just not expecting that kind of treatment from a restaurant owner. To say the least I am never...

I had gotten the sausage and biscuits with my guest getting a BYO omellete with a small (yeah ok!) pancake. Sausage and biscuits (with homefries) I thought were just okay..Would have liked a larger fluffier biscuit. My partner BYO omelette (tom, spinach, feta) was huge and VERY GOOD. The small (HAHAH!) pancake was the size of a hubcap. Bill was $28 with a 2 beverages which i...
Read moreFirst time I came here I was anxious to get the food because I heard it was really good. We ended up waiting over an hour and a half for our food. My dad got his first while I still had to wait and ended up just leaving. Then I decided to give them another shot and they told me they were closed because I guess they don’t want my money after 3 o’clock. You would think if it was a good restaurant they would stay open later. I guess no one wants to work and they don’t need your...
