The Acadiana Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Youngsville

I recently visited Acadiana Bar and Grill and honestly cannot understand how this place is still in business. The food was mediocre at best, lacking any real flavor or seasoning. The drinks were an absolute scam. I ordered a couple of weak cocktails, and they tasted like nothing more than fruit juice—no hint of alcohol whatsoever. It felt like I was being ripped off.

The service was just as bad. The staff was slow, rude, and completely inattentive. We waited far too long for anything, and the restaurant was nearly empty. Our table was dirty, and to make matters worse, no one even offered to clean it. And then a massive, disgusting brown stain dripped down the wall underneath the TV. This brown stain was right behind our heads because it was right at our table. The atmosphere was loud and chaotic, which didn’t help the miserable experience. There were people playing cornhole indoors, which seemed to echo because it was on a stage.

For the prices they charge, you’d expect at least a basic level of quality. Instead, you get weak drinks, poor service, and a filthy environment. I will never return and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Please save your money and go somewhere that cares about...

I have really really tried to like this place and give them my business as I believe in buying local, but I can’t. Food is subpar and service is awful! Placed an order online and received text 11 minutes later that food is ready. So no longer than some of my McDonald’s orders. No one is serving me, no one is going to bring the food back and recook it if the food ordered was incorrect, so getting at $5+ tip should be generous enough. They did no more than McDonald’s. So husband arrives and hostess packaging our meal is throwing a fit about the tip and starts saying we should have gone to McDonald’s! So, NO YOU DO NOT DESERVE A TIP! You don’t act this way regardless of anything. You didn’t do anything to go above and beyond to get a tip and once again, part of our order was missing and the food was okay. So as an owner if you believe we’re in the wrong, then fine, you’ll no longer get...

Today was our first time eating here.. We ordered fried pickles, fried catfish poboy and steak tacos. I requested to add mayo and ketchup to the poboy (wasn't added). The tacos were very dry as if it was supposed to come with some sort of sauce but didn't. The food was very cold also. The sides of grilled vegetables was the best part of the meal I mean they were GREAT! Probably the only reason my visit got a second star. The catfish poboy was very hard to eat. I dont understand how it could be that flavorless. Like eating cold fried bread. I don't understand. I've heard the burgers there were decent maybe I'll try that if I ever go back. I wish I had nicer things to say, I'm sure other items are way better. Just stay away from the catfish poboy that needs to be taken off the menu...
