Sylvio's Pizzeria & Deli — Restaurant in Yuba City

I love Sylvio’s pizza but we stopped going after we repeatedly were given pizza with the cheese barely melted. I even ask the employee over the phone if the pizza can be left in a little longer to which I always get a response of “definitely.” We got a cheese pizza with olives on it last weekend after not ordering for a few months and once again the cheese was barely melted. I’m not sure what’s happening? The traditional sticks are always cooked perfectly. Why can’t the pizza cheese be melted the same? Also, we have stopped ordering the Buffalo wings because they will not coat the wings in sauce, but will just provide you will the sauce you ordered on the side. I also have asked why they started doing this and the reason they gave was that many customers were complaining either too much or too little sauce was on the wings. They resorted to this method to allow the customer to have their desired amount of sauce on the wings. Just saying- you order wings from restaurants for the convenience of the wings being cooked and coated.

The place was slow, but we went on a monday at about 2 so I didnt expect it to be busy. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly with little suggestions on how to save a little money, like getting a pitcher for soda. We ordered two hotdogs for the kids and they came with potato salad and a pickle. They were good sized and pretty cheap. Definitely good for the price. I had a Philly Cheese Steak. While I wasn't thrilled they didnt have provolone cheese, I was surprised at how good it smelled. It came quickly and hot. The tasye was pretty good. I wont have to go to Roseville to get a good philly anymore. Same sides as the kiddos. My husband had the combo calzone. Would He was very happy with how filled and crispy it was. I think it was the first time I have ever seen him eat a calzone without hot sauce. It was about $30 before tip. I cant wait to go there to actually try the pizza. Several pick up pizzas while we were there. Downsides? Weird show on the Tvs and because of the cute little dinosaur 50¢ machines my kids conned me out of $4. Thanks for a fun...

Great pizza and even better service! Was hosting a large gathering in town and was looking to find a place that I could order ahead. After some bad vibes calling some local competitors I gave Sylvio's a call and their customer service was great! (Note if you're ordering more than 10 pizzas you may need to call in instead of doing it all on their website). The manager Steve hooked me up for my 12 XL pizza order and even gave me an unprompted discount. The pizza was amazing, they put the sauce all the way to the edge and fold the edges up so it almost seems like stuffed crust pizza (without being the obnoxious kind some places make that ooze out the sides). The sourdough crust was amazing!! The Home Run special is my personal favorite if you like meat but we had some vegetarian eaters in our group that loved the Healthy Harvest and even the cheese pizza. Super awesome place, please give them a try over the chain pizza places in the area. I haven't been to the physical location but the service from there and delivery were fantastic. My new favorite pizza place...
