Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Yuba City

I'am very disappointed in my visit tonight. There was one family of 6 ahead of me and I ordered a M&M blizzard and was waiting for 26 MINUTES after I placed my order. The girl making the ice cream was distracted with her family that was ahead of me.

I had to get back in line and ask for my order. when i finally got my order they said they've been calling my number for a long time. I was sitting 5 feet from the counter they never called my number once.

I was so irritated with there service I didnt even check my order till half way home and found that they made my Blizzard with chocolate ice cream because the vanilla had run out!!!!!

( I over heard them tell a customer ahead of me in line when I asked for my order after 26 minutes.)

I called back and asked why they made it with chocolate and they said that all blizzards are made that way! Ive been going to dairy queen longer than most of there staff have been alive and have never had a m&m. Blizzard made that way.(I hate chocolate ice cream)

Absolutely disappointed in there service during and after my transaction. I will and highly recommend you take your business else where until they can properly train staff.

Based upon the other reviews on this location the owners really dont care about their customers or buisness from metal shavings in there food to the very immature staff running the place I doubt I will...

The location is good, the restaurant was clean, and the inside felt like it was about 60 degrees. So we had to eat outside or my hands would become painfully blue. (it's an Autoimmune disorder) The food was good, but we had to change our order midway thru ordering because of my bodily reactions to things like spicy ranch (yet they never say its spicy on the board) as well as applewood smoked bacon( there should be a disclaimer that states that's all they use if this is the case. ) I don't understand why they don't just have a small menu that lists everything on every burger that they carry. And please, please label that sauce spicy ranch! Taco bell has done the same thing and I couldn't eat what I had ordered. Soon I won't be able to eat anything I didn't make myself because not one fast food place gives the full description of what's really on their food. A friend offered to take my husband and I to this Dairy Queen on Friday. We were so excited but were met with hostility and judgement from the staff because we were not wearing face masks. They flat out refused to serve us because of that. First, wearing a face mask is not law in the town we live in and our county has already lifted the quarantine restrictions. Second, I told them I was pregnant and medically couldn’t wear a mask because it restricts oxygen to the baby as well as has a higher risk of contamination due to constant readjusting. They still refused service to us and our friends who took us to Dairy Queen had to order for us while we waited outside in the heat. Only reason they got two stars is because blizzards are awesome and the cheese curds make this momma to be happy.
