I appreciate supporting local businesses, and this establishment has great curb appeal. Upon entering, it’s clear that the food and beverage stations are conveniently located near the entrance.

I approached the counter to place my order, but the employees were engaged in conversation while preparing food for a gentleman in the shop. I had to call out to get someone’s attention, and eventually, a brunette employee assisted me. She was direct and efficient, but her lack of small talk or inquiry about whether my order was for here or to go felt a bit impersonal.

Once she finished taking my order, she began preparing it while the other employee kindly delivered the man's order to his table in the back—a nice touch that reflects good customer service, especially compared to larger chains.

However, my experience soured when the brunette employee simply placed my food on the counter and looked at me expectantly, lacking warmth. Her demeanor was markedly different from her colleague’s, who had a friendlier presence. Despite this, I still tipped her for her efforts. I wish I had interacted with the other employee instead, as her approach was much more welcoming.

Omgggg. This is the BEST coffee shop we’ve had in Yuba. Finally, good food and coffee! I ordered the horchata cold brew and it’s divine. I also got the biscuits and gravy and it’s some of the best gravy I’ve ever had. The biscuits weren’t heated all the way through though, which was no big deal, but note to the owners, they might need a few more seconds.

The pastry case was stocked full of beautiful handmade pastries. I think they’re made over at edible memories and they look stunning!

The shop itself is beautiful, full of plants, great vibes, just so good.

We stopped by here today because when my daughter googled matcha near me, this place was the first one listed 🤩 We ordered a bagel, matcha, a turkey pesto sandwich and a peach cold brew. Everything was amazing and the vibes were immaculate. Wish we had a place like this near us in SoCal. Love all the personal touches: cups to use while you are there, plants galore, disco balls, cozy chairs, vintage gas station signs that pay homage to this location’s past.
