Uncle Ray's Doughnuts — Restaurant in Yucaipa

My family & I have been going to this donut shop for a year now, almost weekly because we’d stop there for a ham & cheese for our son before he went to school. Well today, one of the ham & cheese we ordered didn’t have the cheese. We went back & my husband and went to ask them if they could give him another one of his money back. They refused to do it. He asked are you really willing to lose our business over $5 & they just wouldn’t compensate him. It’s sad because we’ve been loyal customers to them for the longest. I usually get donuts and/or a ham & cheese croissant from Donuts Hut on Calimesa Blvd, but I wanted to try something new and went to Uncle Ray's. The ladies were in a bad mood, I think... I was charged a dollar for using a card when I bought a ham, egg and cheese croissant, which came to $6. And I would put $20 on my guess that that croissant was bought at Stater Bros. UPDATE: Finally got to try their donuts and, wow, they are delicious. Perhaps the first 2 times I tried to go there before during their open hours and having them closed were just random situations? Loved their food.

PREVIOUS REVIEW: I don't know how their food tastes because I arrived at 3:30pm, half an hour before their posted closing time, only to find them closed.
