Fourth Street Community Park — Attraction in Calimesa

Oh my goodness. This park is in horrible condition. We went for a 6 year olds birthday party and we are fortunate that no one was seriously injured. There are holes in the rubber mats surrounding the slides. Adults tripped in them, kids tripped running over them.... There was a plastic slide with a large hole in the side. The top was blocked off but kids tried to crawl up into it. Honestly they would have suffered an awful cut if they came in contact with the tough, broken plastic. Then an older relative sat on the bench that is welded to the rectangle picnic table and she flew backwards onto the ground behind her! The bench wasn't ( and clearly hadn't been for awhile) connected to the leg of the picnic table at one end so it acted like a sling shot!!! This is...

Update: I'm still a big fan of this park, mainly because it's fenced all around so now that my little one is around the age she likes me to be less involved, I can safely step back and not be worried if I lower my gaze and read on a nearby bench as she plays. The bathrooms are never locked, the place is kept in decent shape and fairly clean, and it's in general been a great small respite close to home!

Very nice park kind of hidden. They offer a large and small dog park..both are a great size for your furry friends bbq grills offered. Im unsure how to go about reserving the canopy but its very nice outlets are offered but assuming they are unlocked when you reserve the canopy? Other wise nice little playground my toddler able to thoroughly enjoy. Large grass patch to accommodate any games you wanna play with family and friends. Ill def be back here and bring my son to enjoy...
