I reviewed this almost a year ago and had been mostly pleased. As of late, my last perience was absolute trash. They were fairly busy, yet there were four employees just standing around talking and basically ignoring me at the counter. When I finally was acknowledged and my order was taken the young lady "assisting" me handed me my change and receipt over her shoulder with her back turned. I thought that was pretty unprofessional and quite rude. Seems like every time that I've been in there lately it has been worse and worse. I was so disgusted that I left without checking my order and when I got home it was wrong. I really don't think I'm going to be coming back to Taco Bell any time soon, especially this one in Yukon.
I do not care for beef, yet always get something with beef on it as it is the less expensive option. I greatly enjoy the pizza and should recommend getting it sans refried beans, trust me on that advice. The steak is good, but more often than not it has a texture much like yard mulch. Have I eaten yard mulch, well no, however I do have an odd imagination.
I suppose it is quick, easy, quite close to home and inexpensive and for those reasons on top of pretty good food I keep coming back. I sure wish Taco Bell paid their employees a bit more, as I would think it would help with their general attitude and demeanor. Yet the folks at this location here in Yukon are almost always quite friendly and...
Read moreTACO HELL of Yukon! This restaurant is a prime example of a struggling and clueless location that gives a popular and successful fast-food chain a black-eye. Thank goodness Yukon offers another of these legendary American versions of Mexican style fast food, located by I-40 & Mustang Rd. This location started its decline many years ago and has never rebound in over two decades, regardless an occasional remodel. In an effort to be fair, I'm inclined to acknowledge that plenty has to do with the typical nasty customers who frequently damage the place, but at some level management will have to exercise greater accountability if greater success or mere existence is on their agenda. Check both your drive through and dine-in orders! It's a common practice for this restaurant to exclude ordered items or to skimp on adequate preparation. The managers have always srltruggled to employ respectful, considerate and competent staff, but it is those managers who are ultimately responsible for the restrooms being in consistent disarray, i.e. broken soap dispenser or no toilet paper, or the poor preparation of meals, etc. The typically mode of operation at this loaction is employee's engaging in far to much horseplay and visiting with free-loading loitering friends to adequately perform their duties. They just don't care enough. Ive tried to occasionally give this location an opportunity to improve my opinion, but my optimisium is often conveted to disappointment and disgust. It's a shame that so much money was invested by someone to improve this establishment's appearance with a facelift remodel, yet the fundimental problems still go unaddressed. I'll AVOID, particularly since we have plenty of options. Three members of our party had immediate upset stomachs after our most...
Read moreThis used to be a great place. I ordered a Cantina steak burrito, chicken quesadilla, and a potato burrito. I specifically asked for FIRE sauce. When the lady handed me the bag, I, again, asked, "Is there fire sauce in there?" She said there was. I normally check the bag before I leave but I was so exhausted I did not this time. I got home and there was hot sauce NOT fire sauce. I started eating the steak burrito and I found only 2 tiny pieces of steak!!! I trashed most of the burrito because the rest was sauce and flour tortilla and lettuce. I started on my chicken quesadilla. Guess what? NO chicken! I found not one piece of meat in it! Since I had a rough day, I had my hubby trade the hot sauce for the fire sauce. Run don't walk to another Taco Bell! This used to be a great place to eat. No longer. I gave this place 3 changes and no longer. The expensive Cantina burrito costs more because it is supposed to have more. Not at...
