Vacca Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Yukon

This review has been a long time coming! I am a wedding planner and I live in Piedmont so I needed a place to take my clients for meetings. I tried Starbucks, McAlesters, etc. but they were all too loud and I didn't feel comfortable being there for more than an hour or so. I needed a place that wasn't my office but that I could feel at home for those days when I have meetings back to back to back for 8 hours straight. I also needed a place that was open later than 6pm. I stumbled upon Vacca with a quick Google search and I FELL IN LOVE! The coffee tastes great and gives me way more energy than Starbucks ever did. It also helps that they serve yummy substantial food because otherwise I would only be eating Iced Coffee all day long. They have a large menu and are super friendly which makes it easy for people who aren't coffee experts to feel comfortable enough to ask questions. There is plenty of seating for you and a guest or a whole group of 10. The vibes are cozy and clean. Management is always making improvements like their new loyalty program and menu! I’m giving it 5 stars because of our FIRST experience here on Saturday. We loved it so much that we decided to go again Sunday morning. This time was not so “Great”. On Saturday we got 2 caramel pecan iced lattes, the two people working were amazing, answered questions, and they even “cracked open” a new bottle of flavoring and the lattes were perfect. On Sunday, the cashier decided to argue with my wife that “we didn’t get those lattes there,” and “it must’ve been somewhere else” completely trying to make my wife feel stupid and refused to listen to the explanation my wife was politely providing. While my wife was waiting for our drinks she hears the cashier argue with the next woman in line. Not sure what was said but whoever the cashier is should probably not be dealing with customers so early in the morning. We’ll come back but probably not on Sunday as it’s a 22 minute drive for us.

EDIT: Same person was there today just a few days later. He was in a great mood, much more personable, and friendly! The drink he made is fantastic! One of the best iced lattes I’ve had. We all have our rough mornings and tough days. But this place...

I like coming here with friends to catch up! They have nice seating. The coffee house is located in a strip mall which shares all the parking. It can look full pretty much any time of day. I once ordered a chai latte, and it wasn't mixed very well. I summoned up the courage to ask them to redo it, and they actually asked me what was wrong so that they could alter how they made it. That made me feel so heard and special. They said something about how the mix doesn't always respond to hand mixing so they did a different blender method and it was much better after that! I liked their sausage, edd, and biscuit sandwich for breakfast. It's a little greasy from butter so keep some napkins on hand, and the biscuit just falls apart. Very good. I didn't like the flavor of their matcha latte one time when I got it, so I wouldn't recommend that. Their waffles were yummy and make for a fun breakfast date. I'll keep coming back when I'm...
