My family and I are vacationing in Yuma and were in the mood for pizza, and instead of going with a bigger chain we decided to shop local and support the community, be adventurous and try something new.
This pizza is amazing! It was perfect in every way! A little pricey but delicious!
But with that being said, they really fall short with their customer service! When I looked on Google for pizza joints we opted for one that delivered since we were pretty wiped out. When I called to confirm if there was a minimum requirement for delivery we were given a sharp response from the woman that they haven’t offered delivery in 1.5 years due to COVID, and when I replied that Google and their website imply that they do delivery she made up an excuse that we needed to check Facebook for their operational updates. So thinking that I made a mistake with calling the wrong pizzeria, I reviewed my resources online again to make sure I was ordering from the right pizza joint. After careful consideration we decided to continue with our order and followed up with a second phone call. She was very impatient with me as I placed my order and I informed her that according to their website and Google they do INDEED offer delivery and she went through her whole spiel about how they do their advertising through their Facebook page AGAIN. AND THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I do find that quite baffling that you expect your community to check with Facebook first instead of their online resources or Google! So instead of retaliating and cancelling my order I KEPT IT and AND I showed up and BOUGHT IT instead of being a no-sho.
It’s a shame because I really did like the pizza but because of your lousy customer service I won’t be coming back. I know there are other local pizzerias to support/explore and I would encourage everyone to think twice before...
Read moreIf you're going to claim to be the home of a Cities signature dish, you could at least have the decency to get half the ingredients correct. Olives? Jalapeños? Lettuce/tomato? Is this the classic sandwich from philly, or a torta with melted cheese? Feels more the latter. I also came to give 3 stars, I'm not that harsh. The meat was actually tender and tasty, even though it made up less than half of the filling.. I give one star because either the owner is writing/paying for reviews, or compulsive liars come to Ronnie's in droves just to claim that they're from philly, when they are not. "Tastes just like home, I'm from philly". If a shop handed you olives and jalapeños on a standard philly, in philly, they would close In a month. Perhaps a niche shop or two? But then all of those people from those very specific parts of Philidelphia all ended up at Ronnie's in yuma? Please. I also found a carrot slice which appears to have come from someone else's salad in my sandwich (i didnt order one), which tells me cross contamination is an issue. Save your money if you want a sandwich, Azar's is...
Read moreThe 1st night the sandwich I ordered wasn't made properly and I couldn't eat it. I phoned the manager on duty and she did not offer anything except for a free sandwich the next day in a nonchalant way. So the next day I ordered the sandwich, when it came it was made properly and it was delicious. So I thought I should call the manager and tell them that the replacement sandwich was good. I spoke with a different manager. He was really good about everything and sent the sandwich over. The person who delivered it was very friendly and seemed apologetic for something he didn't even do. It shows that they cared about the business reputation and I laughed and told him the sandwich was delicious " And I'm not even a big meat eater ". And then right after that Ronnie Jr. invited me back for another sandwich someday. I plan on...
