I enjoyed the food but I had to go back 3 or 4 times because they messed up my rolled taco's-1st I asked for sour cream on the side in a cup which not only did they repeat it but also wrote it on the check, 2nd checked the food since I had a big order for 5 people which cost a lot of I remember correctly it ended up costing $68 well they put it on top of my tacos & pretty much all over them so I requested a new order of 12 shredded beef tacos, they throw away messed up tacos & I offered to pay for them but I wanted the correct order-they refused then wasted them to the trash, 3 after my order was remade, checked so I didn't have to come back again & they were good or so it looked. Well I got home again for the 2nd time, got ready to finally way my dinner only to be 100% disappointed when I bit into my beef tacos only to find out they were potato tacos-which are great tacos too but not what I wanted. I called them to complain about it which they asked me what my order was supposed to be but I explained that I was the only 1 who didn't eat my dinner & I didn't get to eat with my kid's so now I've got to get dressed again to drive back in there for my tacos for the 3rd or 4th time. I don't even remember getting a sorry from the manager or other employees either. All she said was to bring back the potato tacos for the correct tacos. 4th my daughter & I got back there to get the right order. I was fuming & I just wanted to eat with my kid's except for thanks to all the screw-ups that happened with Taco Monster I ended up eating alone! The girl who I talked to at the counter probably the ONLY decent employee there expressed how sorry she was & asked if I'd like a soda for my trouble. I thanked her for that and she got my beef tacos, checked them I pulled 1 up to make sure it was beef so everything was finally correct & this time I was able to keep the potato tacos, received a 32oz soda & most importantly I received the right order. I can't remember her name but I thank you again for being the only nice & professional employee there! Also for wearing your mask too when a lot of your coworkers weren't wearing 1 or wearing it the right way. I won't be eating here again even though my family & I like the food but the service is a disgrace except for the 1 girl!!! So unless something changes with this company we won't be back after the way we had been treated not even a I'm sorry except for the front girl who helped me afterwards. I have pictures of them not wearing masks & it is mandatory but they still didn't bother to wear them. They had opened up once already & had to close because they're employees had covid-19 so to see this behavior was unacceptable especially for the reason that they closed down because they wanted to protect their employees & the public from covid-19 & then you see the cook, cashiers, even managers & people just not wearing a mask. Idk about you but that's not what I call protecting anyone. Also they may be wearing gloves but they never changed them not even after handling payment or touching people's orders what a horrible sight. I meant to post this review when it happened but I ended up coming down with some kind of virus/illness so I forgot so I am sorry for the delay. Please look at the pictures close & you'll see they're either not wearing a mask properly while talking around the food or they're not wearing masks at all. I really hope this changes because I wear a mask for not only myself but also for my kid's, my family, my patients & other's around me. We haven't been back since this night which is a shame because the food is good but the rudeness of mangers, employees including the male cook & the fact that not everyone were wearing masks has stopped me-along with others I know who don't want to have the same experience as we did. I'm not bashing taco monster at all but I'm making people aware of the situation that happened to me. I hope that corporate office sees this & does something about it because this isn't keeping covid-19 or other virus from spreading through their business/custo

This place is awesome. Driving back to Phoenix from a lil staycation in San Diego, we stopped in here due to the great yelp reviews. This place did not disappoint! We had sampled tacos (beef & ckn) first, delicious. Then we ordered more before heading to a hotel to nap. We enjoyed an indian frybread taco, indian frybread cinnamon'd & sugar'd. The indian taco was very good (but not quite as awesome as ones my daughter in law makes). The sweet treat was good, but not quite as awesome as a good ol' fashioned elephant ear, which I was hoping it was more like. A monster burrito closed out our order and was extraordinarily delicious! The green sauce at this joint is out of this world, best I have ever had. I even said, "I'm coming back to staycation in yuma, so I can come back to eat here." I'm so not kidding. We had also purchased some lumpia from a few doors down which was decent. Not like what my daughter from another mother makes with her Grandmother back home, but was good and I'd likely order it again. Sorry we didn't even take the time to photograph our food...we were hangry and tired, lol. Seriously though, don't hesitate stopping in, you will most definitely leave happy.

Update: Unfortunately, I'm removing two stars from my review of this restaurant. My partner and I went there yesterday for lunch. We ordered 5 Taco Monster tacos (4 with chicken and one with carne asada). I've ordered Taco Monsters before, so I knew what to expect. According to the menu (and what I'd received on previous visits) a "Taco Monster" taco comes with your choice of meat, a grilled California pepper, whole beans, Monterey cheese, cilantro, and cabbage on either a flour or corn tortilla. All 5 tacos I received were only meat and cabbage on the tortilla. There was no cheese, no cilantro, no beans, and no grilled pepper (which is the part I love most of all). I didn't complain, because I hate doing that. We made the best of what we were served. I was quite disappointed though. To mess up the restaurant's signature dish is unforgivable. Also, this time the music in the restaurant was way too loud. It was hard to enjoy a conversation at our table. Very disappointing. Previous Review: I've been here many times, and the food is always freshly prepared and delicious. My favorite is the Zombie Burrito with chicken. The service is always fast and friendly. I'll be back!

We arrived at taco monster after our last night after visiting my partner's family last Monday. It was a Monday night so it was pretty slow. Probably because it was 10 PM. It was hard to find something open that wasn't exclusively a bar, so my partner's sister recommended this place. The service was excellent and the place was spotless. We asked the young man behind the counter if we can have our dog in the patio area and he said as long as we go in through the outside and our dog was quiet and behaved. No problem there. I assume barky and unruly dogs may not do so well there, which is a plus for me.

We sat outside and picked up our meal when our number was called. The food was delicious! I had adobo tacos with rice and beans. The rice and beans were delicious as well! Great food at reasonable prices.

The service was great! The young man behind the counter was charming and a pretty good salesman. He did a great job of getting us to buy a little more, without us feeling pressured or him being annoying about it.

I was not expecting the restaurant to be what we experienced and we really enjoyed it. It also looks like it gets bustling on weekends. I look forward to going there again but this time taking my partner's family to make a family dinner of it!

It was a great experience all around and I can't think of anything negative that we experienced during our time here. We will...

We finally got to go to Taco Monster. The gentlemen at the counter was very pleasant and helpful. He answered our questions and made us feel appreciated. We placed our order with him, took a seat and they bring out the food to you. In essence, you are on your own after that. The place is clean and decorated nicely. The tables and booths were in good shape and clean. The amount of food we received, for the price we paid, was not proportionate, in my opinion. The food itself was good and presented well. I had the al Pastor and wish the meat had more flavor. Not the best burrito I have had, but doable. My other half had tacos. They were on the small side. I kept asking her if she wanted me to buy her some more, but she was gracious and said this is fine. They had a salsa bar which was nice and clean with a good choice. But we would have liked to have had some little plastic cups for our salsa; as opposed to, pouring it on our food at the bar. It is hard to eat a burrito with sauce on it. There were no utensils at the table, so we went hunting for the waiter and a fork. The only thing we found was a plastic fork (the cashier was busy with taking orders) and no waiter in sight. All in all not satisfied and unfortunately, although we drive by frequently, we...
