Bojangles — Restaurant in Zebulon

Well hello Bojangles, before I start my mess I wanna first say that I love y'all, from the chicken to the seasoned fries; that'll make you forget what season it is. I decided to jump ship without a safety boat and totally regretted it. I ordered the newly come back fish sandwich. In which I never was a fan of tartar sauce , I made the decision to go the default route either way. Whether my taste buds and the sauce ever become friends or at least associates. As I took my first bite I noticed a numb taste like what did I just chew , not saying it was nasty but maybe shy at first. So I hit it with a tickle uk, trying to break ice and eventually I took another bite hoping for that limited edition feel and just couldn't get it. It was like holding a remote control in your hand without batteries, thinking in the back of my mind like how imma make this work. So I decided to walk back to the front to ask for some buffalo sauce in which the nice employee granted me. So now I'm back to my table looking at the fish like maybe they should had left you in the water; you was better alive but nun the less. I decided to dip that sandwich in my favorite sauce hoping for greatness. But guess what I got ... actually have you seen that movie Friday , remember Felicia?! Well I felt like the fish was asking me for stuff! Like more bites that I didn't feel the need to provide. And again not saying the sandwich was nasty , it just didn't live up to my expectations. I honestly believe Bojangles should stick to chicken and maybe just have different seasonings or something like lemon pepper,Nashville, hell maybe butterscotch idk. I have been going to this Bojangles since they first opened and the service used to be great. Service is still ok during the morning shift up until about 3 pm. However in past couple months it has not been a good experience for me. Several times I have gotten salad with spoiled tomatoes, gotten unsweet tea when I ordered sweet tea. The photos below are from my most recent experiences. The salad photo is where I had eaten almost all of my salad and then took another bite and almost choked on the white piece of plastic. I have no idea what type of plastic it is because they use paper bags here and it was not a soft plastic and not real firm either. The sandwich photo is where I had stopped to get a sandwich for my son who was not well and once I got it home to him and he opened it the sandwich had no top bun. I called Bojangles on the sandwich and they did replace it for free the next day, however while it was being passed to me in the drive through the lady made a comment to the other worker saying "she does this all the time" . I don't need free food, I can pay for my food, the point I have tried to get across here is that they need to pay attention to what a customer orders because it very annoying to get back home or to work and not get what you ordered. If I could make this 0 stars I would!! I went tonight with my family for dinner & the whole experience was awful. One of the employees reached across one of our plates & rubbed her elbow all over our food. When asked to remake it we were given attitude & the manager tried to take up for her, even though you could look at her arm & see where she rubbed across it!! The same girl so rudely said she didn't know why we were standing there anyway, even though we were clearly waiting for our order. She then walked to the back & said ya'll just let me know when ya'll are finished. We were missing part of our order & given attitude about that when we asked for what was missing. There was no tea in the lobby so we had to go to the counter for them to refill our drinks. Whenever I go to this store in the mornings I do not have any issues. The staff is friendly & give no attitude or problems. I always have issues when I go at night. Very disappointed in the poor service myself & my family received tonight. We will be contacting corporate & we will not be going back for dinner there until they get their...
