I was so excited when a Popeyes (my fast food guilty pleasure) opened up close to home. Unfortunately, the place is the absolute worst run establishment I've ever seen. And there's a terrible KFC just down the street. The staff here make incompetence an Olympic sport. I have yet to receive an order in less than 20 minutes. I keep thinking, "maybe this time will be better" and they find new depths of stupidity each time. Today, the spicy tenders were a 3 minute wait at the drive thru. Keep in mind, were the ONLY car there. They ask us to pull around. 8 minutes later, still no food. I go inside. Well, the spicy tenders are done, but they sold all the mild tenders while waiting for the spicy. So then I had to wait for those. I watch as they keep serving fries until the fry bin is gone. The mild tenders finally finish, but now they're out of fries. If they'd just made what they could of my order, I'd have been out in 3 minutes. But once again they found a creative new way to waste 20 minutes of my life. Dudes, Bojangles is right across the street. Read moreMy first experience was great. However, my experience today was disrespectful and disgusting. The lady who took my order was rude and rushed me through the process. Once I got to the window I noticed my order was wrong. The cashier was amazing and very helpful with getting me the right order. However, the lady who took my order came to the window and proceeded to take food out of the cashiers hands and asking me to give my boxes back so she can take the wrong chicken out and put the chicken strips in. At that point I’m furious because how dare you, I understand that’s proper protocol but it’s all about the way you handle situations and conduct yourself. At that moment I just asked for a refund and started handing her the food back. My kids were already drinking their drinks. The lady had the nerve to ask for the drinks back so she can throw them out. Not even remorseful at the fact that she’s the one who messed up the order and caused all the chaos. I arrived 5 minutes later then watched for over 10 minutes while car after car pulled in, ordered and left with thier orders. The wait inside for online orders was about 6 orders including mine. Finally 15 minutes after I placed the order they asked if I had an online order, identified it and began to put it together. Like I said I was one of 6 waiting inside. They all seemed quite used to the wait. This was my first visit. The drive thru service was very fast. I won't be placing any online orders here again. If you watch for 10 minutes orders being taken and filled placed 5 minutes after your order was placed you realize they do not care about online orders and fill them only when the driven thru orders are taken care of.
