Memo's Pizza — Restaurant in Zebulon

Worst pizza/delivery experience ever! I pre-ordered from the GrubHub app 1.5 hours in advance before I wanted my pizza delivered. My order was simple, x1 medium Hawaiian pizza + bacon. Not only was the order delayed, my GrubHub driver got to the restaurant close to my expected delivery time I requested, and my order had not even been prepared yet. Then, once it finally was delivered to my house, the pizza was cold and firm, as if it were old and stale and had been cooked and refrigerated, then recooked. The ingredients did not look fresh and there was hardly any pizza sauce on the crust to begin with. The pizza did not even appear visually appetizing.

Honestly, this is one of the best pizza I've had. I grew up in a small town that has a pizza place that I will always have is the best but they're 3 hours away. So secondary to that this pizza is absolutely wonderful and the people are friendly and always kind. My wife always insists on eating a slice before we drive away just so we can get it hot and fresh. What really says it all is that we drive from 45 minutes away to come here and get our pizza even though there are other places much closer. We stopped here for lunch while in the area furniture shopping and really enjoyed it! I had the Italian sub and it was a nice balance of meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and red onions; I wasn't crazy about the fries, so next time I'd opt for the chips. The bread was crusty and good too! We also had an order of cheesesticks and the breading was crisp with a nice, gooey inside -- some of the best we've had. The stromboli my family had was huge with a nice balance of cheese and meat, and enough for dad and son to split. The staff was also quite friendly. The place isn't glamorous, but the food...
