Azul Tequila and bar — Restaurant in Zionsville

I don’t often leave reviews for restaurants, but after our waiter was unwilling to make things right throughout our meal, I felt the need to write this. At our table, two of us ordered small house margaritas, and one person ordered a large specialty margarita. When they came out, all of them were large and the same, so no one got what they actually ordered. We asked the server to change them because we didn’t get what we ordered, but he said he would just change the charge on our bill and told us to enjoy. Again we said that they weren’t what we ordered, but he just said enjoy and walked away.

Then our entrees came, and again ¾ of us didn’t receive what we ordered. We asked the waiter for the right meal, and he said that’s how the meal comes out and to enjoy and then he walked away.

Fast forward to the bill, and we specifically asked for the bill to be split in two for two separate couples early in the meal so the server could keep things separate. He came with the bill and told us that he accidentally put the drinks all on one bill rather than splitting them between the two couples, and again when we asked him to change it and make it right, he said he didn’t know how to do it and that I just needed to give the other couple the cash for my drink. I asked again if he could make it right and he said “can you not give them the money for your drink?”

The really unfortunate thing is that the margarita and the entree tasted okay, but nothing was what we ordered, and our server had no interest in fixing anything that got messed up during our time here. We will be going to Texas Margaritas or...

The food was excellent. Both the shrimp and steak were perfectly cooked and served hot, which we really enjoyed. However, the service left much to be desired. Our server seemed disengaged—constantly playing on his phone, leaning against the wall, and difficult to get a hold of. Despite requesting no beans, our dish came with them anyway. We even had to rely on another server just to get refills, as ours didn’t checked in on us.

Additionally, our table was right next to the kitchen, where the very loud music from inside clashed with the dining room. While it's great to see an engaged and happy kitchen, the combination made it difficult to have a conversation with my spouse.

Overall, the food was great, but the service and overwhelming noise levels detracted from what could have been a better experience. Will definitely give it another try though just will request not to sit next to...

They had great service and the atmosphere overall was great, however, I tried this place twice thinking maybe they just had a bad day. The chimichanga I got the first time was decent but could have used a little more seasoning. The beans were very pale and runny and didn’t have any flavor and rice also could have used more seasoning. The second time I went I got a taco salad my daughter got a bean burrito with rice and beans. My daughters food was bland and again watery beans, I took a bite of the taco salad and there was absolutely NO seasoning on the meat. I looked in the bowl and it was almost soupy. There was so much water in the bowl. I never send food back, but I had to send this back and ordered something quesabirria tacos. They were better but again, not much seasoning.
