HotBox Pizza — Restaurant in Zionsville

I stopped by HotBox on my way back into town one evening a few weeks back. It had been years since I had been to one, and I forgot there was one so near home.

I ordered to go, but I was impressed by the inside. It's a quaint place with a good environment, however, I had my pup with me. Therefore, we were taking it home.

Caleb rang up my order, and he was very friendly and efficient. Thanks for the great customer service. I ran a few errands close by while the pizza was in the oven, and when I went back, the gentleman who assisted was just as friendly. Very impressed, as I had received less than stellar customer service at a place close by just a few weeks before.

I had the Party Fowl pizza, which was outstanding! I also ordered some Stix, which are always good with a healthy does of dipping sauce. What most impressed me (besides the service), was how NOT greasy the pizza was! I've included a pic of the box, post-pizza. Again, the last time I ordered from a neighboring place, the grease was dripping from the box and actually went through and soaked my car seat a bit. So, whatever, y'all are doing, keep doing it!

New Favorite in Town!

I remember getting HotBox Pizza about seven years ago. The experience was good and the glasses were cool, but it wasn't like I would go out of my way to visit. So many choices.

Upon relocating to the western side of Zionsville, I decided to give HotBox another try, since the Whitestown location is really close to our new residence.

My order was as follows:

Large - Build Your Own Old School Crust Extra Sausage Extra Pepperoni Extra Cheese Cheddar Cheese Banana Peppers (one-side)

While the price was a bit costly compared to the competitors, this pizza is the best pizza I have tasted as long as I can remember. No exaggeration! The choice of ingredients is amazing and the crust is off-the-charts from a taste perspective.

If you are looking for something new to try, order the "JV Special" and you won't be disappointed. Okay ... I realize if you order the "JV Special", the staff at HotBox Pizza will have no idea what you are taking about, so just use the info above, instead. :)

My only wish now ... is that we had ordered the Xtra Large version. So there was more to enjoy...

So I ordered a pizza from this place went back to get another one made because he didn’t put on it when I was asking for. and the guy behind the counter wanted to argue with me and tell me he’s not remaking the pizza. The person who used to make the pizza was a lot better at it. if I was anyone who likes this place before He worked there, don’t come back to it. And now is telling me I have to buy another one just to have it re-made

Update: Went and had another pizza made this dude had a nerve to do it again. If I was anyone who used to love eating at this place, don’t eat here anymore. If the Food is wrong the first time, don’t expect him to Make a replacement pizza and give it to you. Expect to pay for another pizza, And don’t expect him to do it right the second time. Hope y’all like Tons of uncooked grease with your food. And if you ask for anything extra, Don’t expect to get any extra toppings like sauce...
