CMI bar — Restaurant in Tashkent

CMI bar was an interesting experience. The music was okay, but I think people who live techno will enjoy it. I was hoping for more rap/hip hop and full songs from the DJs. There us a mix of English, Russian, and Uzbek songs, but there are several duplicated songs in the playlist. So, if you have a favorite song, you may hear it again.

I did not have any drinks or try any food, but that is available. The atmosphere was quiet at first, but it really got animated around 2 AM.

If you want a place to dance, this is a good spot, but the dance floor is small and compact.

As an American the music here sucks. All they play is techno music. I asked the DJ to play some American music WITHOUT the techno music and he said no. The food was great. The drinks were decent. The service was good. Nice atmosphere. Maybe we will come back. I don’t know. Definitely looking for a place with more variety in music.
