Azure Restaurant, Iririki Island Resort — Restaurant in Shefa Province

We had a lovely evening at the Azure Bar in Iririki Resort. We took the free ferry ride over to the island plus it’s free entry to the resort after 5pm. We headed to the poolside bar where we enjoyed cocktails while watching the sunset. It’s a peaceful, tropical, and perfect setting for unwinding. They had a live band (not too loud) just the right vibe to accompany the view, drinks & enjoy a good conversation. The service was friendly and the overall ambience made it a night to remember. Highly recommend heading over in the late afternoon to catch the killer sunset & enjoy the happy hour cocktails! Nice location (I only came for dinner) but the service is pretty poor.

They never wiped my table down, even though it had spilled drink on it from the previous customer.

Some staff were quite distant, many people sitting on the deck kept waving for waiters and were ignored.

For the location, the menu is quite basic and lack-lustre.

They brought me the bill with my food even though I said I would order another drink soon.

Eventually, after a waiter said he’d bring the desert menu, I waited more than half an hour just for the menu.

In short, looks like it’s a lovely place but I felt far more like I was on holiday back in...

We had an incredible experience at Azure Restaurant thanks to Amy. We showed up without a reservation and, even though it was a busy night (10th June), she kindly found us a table. What truly stood out was her thoughtfulness and care. During dinner, she offered to hold our baby daughter so my wife and I could actually eat in peace for the first time in ages.
