Had the worst experience here. We were originally going to drop some laundry to the Tram Laundry but an old woman stopped us and took our bags saying that she would do our laundry. We did not know how to react and as it was RIGHT NEXT TO where Google maps was taking us we thought it was the right place and just went along. She kept complimenting us while GRABBING all of our stuff and then she said to come pick it up at 8pm. She told us for 2 bags only 75000 so we were happy that it was so cheap. Well when we arrived at 8pm, and gave the money turns out it was 750 000 for less than 7kg. When she saw that the cash we had was not enough she called someone else who started screaming at us saying that no where you can find a laundry service under 50k per kilo and that we were lying to her. She then called more people to intimidate us so we offered to pay 200k as in more than 20k per kilo and she screamed saying that we would never find such prices anywhere in Vietnam and that she would give us a discount at 425k… so we paid and left to check the prices next door where we intended to go in the first place… turns out for the 7kg she would have made us pay 200k with ironing included so what we were expecting… anyway go to Tram Laundry it’s a lot cleaner and the woman is adorable, we were really sad to encounter the horrible scamming industry that was My Duyen Spa. Please avoid this place at all costs…

Read moreDo not come here for a massage! This was the worst massage I had in Vietnam — and I’ve had many. We came here last night. Yes, it was late, after 11 PM, but the manager said it was no problem. Unfortunately, the staff clearly felt otherwise.
Not only were they obviously not in the mood to work anymore, but the woman who treated me also had no idea what she was doing. Although I only booked a foot massage, I unexpectedly received a head and face massage as well. She couldn’t find the correct pressure point at my temples (even after I corrected her) and instead pressed painfully on my cheekbone.
During the neck massage, she smeared my makeup all over my white t-shirt. The actual foot massage was weak and unprofessional — and only lasted 50 minutes instead of the promised 60. Of that, the two ladies spent 8 minutes just getting the hot stones.
But the worst part: they actively and quite aggressively asked for a tip — using the typical finger gesture and saying “tip, tip, now, now, cash” right in the treatment room. Those were the only English words they seemed to know.
We didn’t have any cash, and when paying by card, one of the women again insisted: “tip, tip, now!” Very unprofessional. Very pushy. Very rude.
Summary: If you’re standing in front of this place, just go two doors to the left. The ladies there are super friendly and offer...
Read moreWe came here for dinner around 7pm, the restaurant was completely empty. Once we were ready to order we realised that none of the staff spoke English, not even a word! We ended up ordering chicken, stir-fried rice and noodles with seafood. All the dishes in the menu were very expensive comparing to other restaurants in Vietnam. When the food arrived it looked ok, however, once we started eating we became extremely disappointed. There were a few prawns and squid pieces on a stir-fry, but after they were eaten it was pretty much plain rice that was left - no veg, egg or anything, the whole meal was very bland and not enjoyable. The seafood noodles were very dry and didn't have much flavour, as for the chicken - it was mainly bones, there was not much meat at all! The rice was 165,000 VND, noodles 205,000 VND and the chicken - 290,000 VND, a total rip-off for what we received! The staff kept on coming and cleaning the table with a dirty cloth throughout the dinner, which we find a bit irritating. We left the restaurant around 8pm and it was still completely empty, I guess not for a reason. At the end this ended up being one of the most expensive and worst meals of our two week trip in Vietnam. My experience really made me question the credibility of the...
